I am a newbie in Better Networker.  More important than a long list of questions that for which I am looking for the correct answers to solve specific issues or problems, I am searching for the BEST OF THE BEST among the VETERAN Better Networkers for specific business negotiations for the ASIA PACIFIC REGION.

Browsing through the Member Directory, I realized that with the sheer volume and my knowing only a few among the members, it will take me months BEFORE I can pin down who exactly are the BEST OF THE BEST among the VETERAN Better Networkers, unless I ask for HELP from within each GROUP in this cyber-community.

Below is the COMPLETE DESCRIPTION regarding my search for the BEST OF THE BEST among the VETERAN Better Networkers.

In the event that this request for posting should be reflected in another forum or group, kindly just DELETE and send the notice to my private e-mail address.  Accordingly, I shall log in and make the request posting in the more appropriate Forum maintained by the proper GROUP that you will refer me to check out.

Thank you for your consideration.

All the best and kind regards,

The pre-approved invitation sent by EMMA Tiebens came in exactly at the moment when I am almost about to fall off the edge of faith and hope about the self-imposed project I decided to start last December 2006.  While accomplishing the registration form and reached the part where a self-description is required to be posted, my fingers froze! With mixed thoughts and feelings running in my mind, I made a quick browse of the Member Directory, only to face 717 pages with 22 entries per page to choose from. My trepidation intensified when I sorted the directory by date of registration and found out that this community was established in December 1969! My agitation was temporarily suspended when a series of welcome greetings was posted in my guestbook from Paul Murphy, Dan Sauvagau, Emma Tiebens, Perry Gibson, Sr., and Elwood Crane. I simply closed the “About Me” section with: “Being drafted – work in progress …”  Using tab windows, I downloaded simultaneously all 5 profile pages to facilitate visual comparison on screen. Before I can finish all 5 profile pages, I was stunned and almost fell of my chair.  In shock, I checked back the email sent to me by Emma and only then did the implication of what I glossed over earlier hit me like a “ton of bricks”:   Hi JM,  This is the site I was telling you about...most heavy hitters in the network marketing via internet marketing is a member here! Pretty amazing community! I am sure this will be mutually beneficial between you and the community...  Emma ;)  My agitation transformed into horror thinking “This is a major mistake! I better sleep on this, before it turns out into a major disaster.” And with that thought, I logged out.  Today, I almost made one great mistake when I started searching for the icon or button to delete my subscription. As fate would have it, I could not find immediately the delete icon or button. Instead, I landed in the section about new members and started browsing.  As a management consultant catering to the Small to Medium-size Enterprises in one of the poorest Third World countries, I have always used testimonials of individual owners and corporate officers of client-companiess with their complete names, position titles and ranks, company names, office addresses and contact numbers, including official websites, blogs, and e-mail addresses. While this is not the first time that I encountered cyber-communities or e-groups requiring a brief autobiography for complete registration, I noted that most have relaxed on the implementation of requiring the submission of individual autobiographies due to the sheer volume that will be subject to screening, evaluation and approval by the website administrators. I was almost floored when I started browsing over the autobiographies of the first 10 members of this community, who sent in their greetings or invitations to join their respective networks, and found out that all of them complied with the requirement!  Born in one of the old urban areas of one among the poorest Third World countries to a couple with six (6) young children during the dictatorial regime of Ferdinand Marcos, I was able to complete my secondary (high school) and tertiary (college) education only by  consistently qualifying for full academic scholarship grants. Being the eldest among our sibling, I had to become a “working student” starting with the first semester of the third year in BSC major in Economics and minor in Finance and Marketing. Skipping the commencement/graduation ceremonies, I joined the corporate “rat-race” within the second largest insurance company in the Philippines as a management trainee. Instead of the fast-track but narrow specialist career line, I chose to take the longer but broader “generalist” career covering strategic management, human resource development and management, organization development / change management, marketing and sales, customer relationship management, information management and management. My last stint was head of the Corporate Marketing and Sales Unit which triggered a shift in my life direction. I realized that while I was carrying and performing the bulk of the load for the company to rake in the profits as I get the applause and pats on the back as icing for the limited compensation package as a corporate officer, it was the independent business associates I was helping who were becoming millionaires, and gaining the “free time” that I have always wanted but I could not simply enjoy while within the corporate loop! Twelve years ago, I decided to make a “life shift” and never looked back. I simply filed my resignation and became an “Independent Business Contractor” for just about anything that may be required by preferred individual and corporate clients, whether as consumer or provider of selected products and services. It was then the 10th anniversary year of the People Power of EDSA that ousted the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos. The year 1996 was particularly volatile for the Philippines, with the Philippines ending the year with a foreign trade balance with the USA at negative193%. Aside from my mother and all my brothers and sisters, virtually everybody around me thought I had lost my marbles, and into a one-way street, heading straight at break-neck speed to an asylum or the cemetery! Twelve years after, nothing much has changed for the better at the macroeconomic level for the Philippines, cosmeticized press releases of the illegitimate government of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo notwithstanding. At the microeconomic level, were it not for that decision to make a “life shift” from employment into entrepreneurship, for sure I would be either among the millions of the marginalized Filipinos, dying below the Poverty Line or the heavily debt-ridden middle class. If not for the daring venture into entrepreneurship, I would not have reached the position to be able to start trying to help the millions among the marginalized Filipinos. My exposure to Multi Level Marketing / Networking in the Philippines had been one bloody roller-coaster ride ending with a crash, resulting to extreme phobia from mere reading of the words! Starting with the entry of AMWAY, it was a bit rosy, since my favorite girlfriend at the time was the Distribution Manager for Philippine operations. However, my involvement was a mere token, preferring to stay in the area of free-lance management consulting services for Small to Medium – size Enterprises (SMEs) which included Independent Distributors of virtully all the MLM/networking companies operating in the Philippines. With the advantage that I had in terms of prior experience in traditional direct marketing on B2B and B2C environments for diverse organizations in various industries, involving both tangible and intangible products, by both local and foreign companies, I knew that most of the MLM companies that were operating from 1996 up to 2006 were not applying what were actually espoused by their parent-companies in the USA and Europe. Worse, the local based MLM companies proliferated, with most if not all ending up with law-suits as “pyramiding scams” or outright fraud of the innocent consumers! My last brush with MLM/networking was in 2006 when Php400,000 went down the drain with the folding up of a local company whose officers hid the fact, that the company was on its way out, and all the Uplines were merely maximizing the encashment of credits! At the US Dollar – Philippine Peso conversion rate of Php40.00 to US$1, the amount of US$10,000 may just seem a pittance to all of the members of Better Networker. However, since my savings program started way back when the US Dollar - Philippine Peso conversion rate was at only Php 10.00 to US$1, from my end it was losing US$40,000 savings, truly a great fortune, totally wiped out in the blink of an eye.  December 2006 was the darkest period of my life ... Now, what am I doing here and why did I accept the pre-approved invitation graciously extended by Emma Tiebens? For the past two (2) years, a second wave of MLM/networking companies flocked into the Philippines. And the debacle wrought on the hapless and unsuspecting locals that was perpetrated since 1998 has started and the same disaster for Filipino consumers is guaranteed to be repeated. Based on what I have come to learn about MLM as a concept, it is the most logical mode of distribution of any product or service that should benefit all consumers of a particular product or service. The cost-pricing principle is the fairest since with the consumers being the “distribution channel” as well, the cost of distribution should be brought down to the lowest possible level, at least theoretically. The “problem” lies in the field of ethics, i.e., the morality of those who run the show, from the incorporators to the stockholders, the corporate officers and down the line. Just like any tool for doing business, MLM can be misused or abused by the unscrupulous operators, posing as honest businesspersons. From the little that I have read so far, it seems that I may be in the right place to look for ethical MLM/networking companies with professional corporate officers and honorable uplines with whom I will be able to engage honest-to-goodness expansion of their business operations into the Philippines, applying the true concepts and spirit of MLM. I am exploring this option in line with the long term “Culture Change Management Program” that I have decided to support for my Motherland and my People. Unless proven otherwise even right here in Better Networker, I am looking at the true and real MLM/networking business to be a major variable factor to reduce the poverty level in my country by expanding the opportunity for generating income from employment to include independent distributorship as a truly viable honest to goodness business option for the marginalized Filipinos. All that is needed is to establish specific market niches of the estimated 92 million Filipinos, with approximately 80 million spread out in the more than 42,000 barangays over the 7,107 islands of the Philippine Archipelago, and with the estimated 12 million Overseas Filipino Workers and Migrants, virtually all over the face of Planet Earth. I have established SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK as the initial “Central Neutral Neural Network” (CNNN) in support of the Vision and Mission to pursue the long term "CULTURE CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM" for my Motherland and my People. SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK shall provide the most efficient and most effective network for communication, cooperation, coordination, and collaboration among "Change Agents", as individuals and as members of "Change Management Organizations" in business, academic, social, civic, religious, political, non-governmental, environmental and other dimensions of daily life of the Filipino People. SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK is "Building Bridges, Breaking Down Walls" towards "Building a global Filipino nation in the New Millenium".  To get a feel of what SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK is all about, just CLICK on the following LINK or COPY AND PASTE into the Address Bar of your browser: http://sphpglobal.ning.com/?xgi=6Fcaw3C  From my end, I am not here to try to earn Guru points to go up from level 1 to whatever may be the highest level that is currently applied or whatever may be adopted later. I am here to look for the BEST OF THE BEST among the veteran Better Networkers with whom I can do business to tap the vast market potential of FILIPINO MIGRANTS , whether as US citizens or Permanent Residents in ALL the states of the USA. Thus, my estimate is that I should be able to establish not just linkages but business contracts, with at least FIFTY (50) up to about ONE HUNDRED (100) from among the BEST OF THE BEST among the veteran Better Networkers, to ENSURE that there will be at least one (1) or two (2) business associates who will take care of ALL Filipino Migrants in each and every state of the USA.  And with that as the base for honest-to-goodness MLM/networking operations, launch the program for the FILIPINO MIGRANTS in the USA:  “Save our Co-Filipinos in the Homeland via MLM”!  This "Save our Co-Filipinos in the Homeland via MLM" must be replicated by SPHP GLOBAL NETWORK on PER COUNTRY basis.  If you are a FILIPINO MIGRANT reaching this particular line and still reading, are you among the BEST OF THE BEST of the veteran Better Networkers who can still find it in your heart to try to do the best you can to help our Motherland and our People? Even if you do not have Filipino lineage, are you among the BEST OF THE BEST of the veteran Better Networkers, who truly believe that the only real measure of success as a human being on Planet Earth is never in terms of the material wealth that you accumulate and the amount of time you can spend for your fun, leisure, recreation, and games, but only in what you have actually accomplished to serve others, especially the handicapped and the marginalized among the different people and races, up to your moment of death?  If you are any of the two (2) described above, you can reach me immediately to start the ball rolling by sending an e-mail with a COPY of this posting to my back-to-back/alternate e-mail accounts:  pmcsi.phils@gmail.com  and  pmcsi_phils@yahoo.com w/ CC to sphp.global@gmail.com That way, I will notice your e-mail promptly and reply immediately from whichever Inbox that I will open.  If you do not belong among either category, I would like to thank you for your time and interest to continue reading up to this point.  I truly appreciate your patience to read this post completely.  May the Supreme Being finally have mercy and start to bless my Motherland and my People.  JM Nepomuceno“Building Bridges, Breaking Down Walls
