Read More: Or has anyone else noticed that a lot of the people posting on the Mentoring for Free groups pages are basically trying to bash the methods taught in this system?
I mean it's great if people have opposing opinions of these methods, but honestly why would someone join a group just to put down methods being shared by someone who is probably more successful than they are?
It's kinda laughable really!
All that aside, though. I've been part of MFF for about two months now and I've started applying the methods that are taught by this system and I'll tell you what... they work. People can say whatever they want about them, but I can guarantee that the people who knock the methods have never actually tried them.
In fact, just recently the 5 Pillars saved me from losing a lot of money. I was involved in one company and about to join another that both failed the 5 Pillars test. In fact, because of what I learned I gained the knowledge I needed on researching the companies and their owner properly and learned that he was nothing, but a scam artist who built companies and used the whole "ground floor opportunity" ploy to draw people in. The companies he starts never make it past the ground floor, though... every single one of them flops. People pay money... sometimes in the $1000's only to be added to a list of "opportunity seekers" that is sold by this man's true business... He sells LEADS!!!!
So thanks to the 5 Pillars, I learned that I was paying to be put into this guys leads system... and I learned before I lost too much money. I learned before I brought other unsuspecting marketers into the business thereby making myself look bad for bringing them into a scam. I learned before I destroyed my own reputation as a Network Marketer.
So I say... if you're new to this group and you read negative comments about the system... well try it for yourself. See how it works for you... and make up your own mind. If I had listened to one of these other fools and decided this system wasn't worth my time it could have cost me a lot!

Thank you, Renee, for taking a look and taking some action. These groups are here for a purpose and you've actually, finally, got the ball rolling.
Why is there no discussion here? Why does everyone parrot the "party line"?
Bashing is an interesting take on some of those posts you refer to. It could be bashing if you choose, it could be as simple as another point of view. The latter is a much healthier place to come from.
We, all of us looking to make a go of it in network marketing, face the difficult job of determining what program offers the most effective tools to satisfy our individual needs. It is a daunting task, and as you point out, sometimes costly. It is a matter of harvesting the best from each but knowing that no one program answers every question to an ultimate conclusion. There is Always room for discussion, discovery, dialog. If there is no room then what are you really dealing with?
Do some things work here? Absolutely! Are there some traps here? Absolutely! When questions are raised and counter points made the idea behind that is to get people to think independently and for themselves. And, it seems to be working.

If it works for you don't worry about other people and thier idea's what you did probably did not work for them and they assume they are flawed.
I sometimes see a lot of judgemental attitudes in people and mentors because they measure success by what they use which may not be for everybody.

"Kinda laughable", you say? Wonderful. Both smiling and laughter cause the release of endorphins in our bodies. And, as you may know, endorphins are natural pain relievers and mood elevators. If anyone here has given you a reason to laugh, that's really good for your health! Seriously, it is.
I have two degrees in health education and I've been a medical professional for the past 38 years. I am a firm believer that laughter is the BEST medicine.
Just wondering about something, Renee. When you said "by someone who is probably more successful than they are", were you referring to yourself by any chance, or someone else?
Part of my medical school training involved the extensive study of human psychology. I'm picking up on a great deal of defensiveness in your words. It may or may not be intentional, possibly subconscious. When someone voices a viewpoint different than your own indoctrination, do you feel threatened in some way? Do you feel a knee jerk, immediate need to lash back? Where is that coming from?
As far as "bashing" is concerned, I have become keenly aware that Mentoring For Free does its fair share of bashing. So this is like "The pot calling the kettle black", wouldn't you say?
If you are experiencing tremendous success, CELEBRATE your life! Be original. Be yourself. Personally brand YOU. You are a vibrant, young, beautiful woman with soulfulness, spirit, and spunk. Create your own platform for communication. Be courageous. Step outside the stringent boundaries of rhetoric.

and the thick air created by those masquarading as group think tanks is poisonous. I must add that GROUPS are generally speaking in harmony. I guess many believe they are so very clever when they are masquarading as low-key SALES selling something all together different in their "group participation". Using the idea of free-thinking as their purpose to discredit.
For those who disagree, or believe they have superior information to "share" that is what FORUMS were created for, or start your own group. For many starting your own group would be too hard when you don't have a system to follow or people to follow you, unless you TAKE people from other groups. Seems many believe they are using "attraction marketing" when they weasel their way into another group selling their wares (under the radar) like a worn out used car salesman.
I HIGHLY recommend the GO GIVER by Bob Burg this may help with your misunderstanding of sharing/giving and TAKING.
Guess it is a bit strange the person who started the group, who most obviously is leading it and has control over posts was removed from the site YET the group he started remains active so the bashers can come in and "speak their mind" turning the group into a forum and the posters who have "so much to share" can claim it is a "stale group".
Much like the pathetic used car salesmen approach many networkers use today. Lets advertise a somewhat successful group or internet community with their company/group name in in our titles like (the truth about xyz company). When they land on our page we won't "bash" this other group we simply overlook it and describe our "wonderful whatever. Our sleaze-ball tactics will work OFF of another system because we have nothing to offer other than "creative" tactics. When these pathetic people find out they have been had we have our money. We RECRUITED them in by side-swipping them in a bait and switch tactic and their smirky smiles are saying "thanks for playing". We GOT what we wanted - another SALE in network marketing which they just don't GET is a relationship building business.
Seems a few have come into this group under their wayward idea of offering a better solution via their "free-thinking" theories and tossing around the words "love" and "abundance" to HIDE their TRUE intentions. As if love, abundance, and "attraction marketing" will change their real motives just because they thought or said these words. If you were truly "attracting" why would you need to infiltrate another group you CLEARLY have zero belief in to stir up the pot with SPIN.
If you created a public group to share information with YOUR GROUP posters kept making posts undermining your efforts pulling them away with different idea's to muddy up their learning process you would by lying saying it is all done in free-love/sharing/attracting and "critical thinking".
Seems to be a setup against the "group" and its purpose and ideals when the organizer is removed.
Posters may think others are not as "critical thinkers" as they LOUDLY claim themselves to be and won't see their real motives yet their obvious contradictions are very open if you read between the lines of their posts and the INTENDED purpose of their "critical thinking cause".
Since MFF "Bashing" started this lively discussions....
...how many people in here, have first hand knowledge and/or experience with some Network marketing mentoring that works and is free? We will love to hear!
If we must bash a system and I agree with Melanie - the MFF has their own bashing- at least the person doing the bashing must present alternatives.

Get out of that competitive way of thinking and start thinking creativly...Why wouldn't 3 of you sit togheter, via Skype or something and figure out how you can do Mastermind group ALL TOGETHER...that it will be a breach...

Yes, like Melanie said "If you are experiencing tremendous success, CELEBRATE your life!" BUT, if you are struggling and can't find anyone to HELP you then find a SYSTEM or a Mastermind Group that can HELP YOU look for the reason WHY you're not creating success.
Now as for the 'Bashing' going on here.
This seems to be done quite a bit around here and from certain people who are feeling regretful for hasty decisions on their part.
