I find that approaching someone who is attractive of the opposite sex and having a conversation with them while holding eye contact is a difficult thing to do until you get used to it of course. Now I am married and love my wife very much, but I think it is great practice and if you can get to where you can do it with confidence and hold eye contact all while keeping control of the conversation no matter how brief it might be, you will take your prospecting to a whole new level. Internet Marketing is one thing, but building relationships with people offline will build your business easier and faster. The reason is because you can build lasting relationships and if the people live in your community you can support them and use them for support and motivation. I like the verse out of the Bible that says One can put a thousand to flight but two can put ten thousand. This holds true in Network Marketing just like it does in everything else.
