How close are to total financial ruin are you?
Have you taken a close look at your financial worth lately?
Borrowing a quote from Robert Kiosaki's Cashflow Quadrant, "Definition of Wealth"
"The number of days you can survive without physically working and still maintain your standard of living."
For example: You earn $1000 a month. You have $1000 in expenses. You have $1000 in savings. Your "wealth" is only 1 month. Your expenses are = to your income. You have only 1 month to survive on your wealth.
If you are anything like that you're riding this redline finance disaster too. I found out the hard way. I was injured on the job & was out of work for a month. 30 days without pay. Thankfully I did have some savings. My monthly expenses are just $200 below my income. My savings lasted me exactly one month. It's in the second month that the panic starts to set in. You realize that you've no savings left & there are still more bills coming in.
