Is cold calling dead?

Is the use of lead programs dead?

I spent my 1st few years calling, and calling, and calling people.

Getting hang ups, rejection, and down right frustration.

As my skills improved, success followed, but still to this day I really cringe when thinking of getting a list of people and calling them out of blue.

Feelings?
