Self-Discipline is the key to everything

Do what others won't today, and you will live like others won't in the future.

I just want to thank all of my mentors and leaders who have guided me through out my young business career. .One thing I think everyone needs to know before they start a business, is that business brings challenges and things out of you that never knew about your character. Like if you are a lazy person; you will find out really quick when starting something from scratch.

I remember working for companies and I thought I was such a hard worker. Then at the age of 21 I started my first business venture. I started out really great, and sprinted towards the finish line, but in the end ran out of gas. See just because you start fast, doesn't mean you will finish what you started. I realize one thing about myself, and that I was lazy and wasn't willing to do what it took at the time to be successful in that venture. 

I started to learn more and more about myself over the years and perfected things in my character over time. One thing I learned is that if you are not reading books about success, about character development, and others who came before you. This is going to be a long process for you. Please if I can encourage to do anything is read, read, and read some more. Continually stretch yourself and try things that you read, you are sometimes just one sentence away from applying something that will change your life. Why do you think so many people flock to see Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, John C. Maxwell, and ect. Because they started on the journey and have been applying the same principles and disciplines for their whole life. If they do it and have taught others to do the same, and it's working for them; then there might be something to it that you need to look at for yourself.

Well the last thing I will say is, come up with the WHY for your life. So many people just walk aimless with no direct purpose in mind. Ask yourself WHY am I doing what I'm doing right now? If you can't answer this, then maybe your WHY is not strong enough right now. Every great cause like American Cancer Society, Boys and Girls Club, and ect. They all have a reason why they do what they do, and there thousands others who have done the same thing. Now don't misunderstand what I'm saying here, I'm not saying your why has to be this big, but it should be something personal to you. That when the trials of life come to you and your business, that you won't quit at the first sign of adversity. 

So I pray that this will help somebody enrich there life to do make a change or do something that they have always wanted to do, but have been scared to pull the trigger. If you have any questions for me I would love to answer them. I hope this bless you, as you have blessed and enriched my life.
