I'm a Mom but I'm also a business woman
Group: Mothers Work At HomeWhat a great group to start. Moms. Most of us choosing to work at home so we can be there for our kids. What awesome people we are !!
To kick off a topic I am a strong believer in personal development and I highly recommend all of us make it a priority to do some every day. The budget minded need not worry. Amazon or ebay have tons of really good books and audios at a very reasonable price (sometimes as low as 10 cents) so there isn't a huge reason not to have an extensive library of personal development material.
For moms it's most often the time. Early in the morning, late at night is when we often times wash our floor, fold laundry, pack lunches for the next day and rarely unless we make it a priority will we feel comfortable sitting down with a book when the dishes still need to be done.
One piece of advice - MAKE IT A PRIORITY but only of course if you've got a handle on how big your desire is.
I had no choice. Single mom. I had to make it work. I had to do whatever it took to achieve the success that was going to not only allow the luxuries of life but the basic bread and butter, the food, shelter, clothing that I had to provide for my children.
The key? The more personal development I did, the more success I had. The more I became the business woman I needed to be.
I look forward to reading many more topics from other like minded moms.
Thanks for introducing this forum.
To your success,
