Let's coordinate a webinar. I have gotowebinar.com which allows conferencing via the web. Audio is provided via conference call # and/or microphone and speakers. This will come in handy for our international partners. the 'mic/speakers function' works best with a headset which keeps the speakers from feeding back into the mic.

Hugo, I couldn't tell your location from your profile. So, I'm assuming you're in the U.S. I don't think we have anyone on the East Coast. Dean is 6 hours before CST. We should let him wake up before we host a call.

I didn't explore profiles close enough to determine who is full time self employed and who is punching a clock. I'm going to throw out some dates/times and I'd like your feedback:

This Thurs. or Friday?

2 or 4p CST?

Of course, any of the above works for me.

webinar or conference call

Tami...if there is no visual material, we can also just do a conference call. I have a conference line we can use if you would like. Where does everybody live???

Deborah Tutnauer — Mon, 10/26/2009 - 12:58pm

Conf call

I'm in Dallas (Central Time), so Tami D. and I are in the same timezone.

I have 3 weekly scheduled commitments:

1. 6:30-8:30 PM on Tuesdays (Lions Club)
2. 10:30-11:30 AM on Wednesdays (training call for new reps)
3. 6:30-8:00 PM on Thursdays (We do a live presentation of our business opp each week)

Due to the fact that mine is primarily a business-to-business opportunity, I work weekdays on it, but normal business hours would be best for me.

Have a GREAT day,
Warren

Dean is in NZ

Deborah, welcome! Dean is in New Zealand.

Thanks for the conference call offer. And, thanks for the visiual reminder. I'll make sure we have some visuals to compliment our program.

How's Th or Fri for you? And, what about a time?

Tami DuBose — Mon, 10/26/2009 - 2:27pm

Hmmm - Where does the 'whole post' go?

As this is the first group post I've started, I was unaware that the initial set up post would 'shorten.' It's not a post, it's an intro. . .

I had some great detail in the initial post set up. Let me try to recall it:
I have gotowebinar.com and it allows telephone and Mic/speaker options. A headset works best as speakers tend to create feedback through the mic.
I skimmed most of the profiles and Hugo is the only one whose location I don't see.
Dean is New Zealand which is 6 hours before me, Central Standard Time. Everyone else appears to be West of me.

I didn't review profiles closely enough to determine who is full time self employed and who still punches a clock. So, I'm going to suggest some dates and times allowing Dean time to wake up.

Dawn has some commitments this week and I've yet to find a way to contact Hugo. So, let's look at:
Monday, 11/2, at 2p CST
or Tuesday, 4p CST

Like Warren, 'normal business hours' work best for me (& my family.)

What works for you?

Tami DuBose — Mon, 10/26/2009 - 2:51pm

Central too

Hi All,

I'm in Nashville, TN - Central time. Both days and times work for me... and generally the 9-5 works for me as well.

Thanks,
Tami R.

Tami Ross — Mon, 10/26/2009 - 3:15pm

Still considering time.

I'm going to message those who might not know we're considering a webinar time. It's a good idea for us to have it on our schedules by tomorrow.

Tami DuBose — Wed, 10/28/2009 - 8:10am

Time

Monday, 11/2, at 2p CST would be the better of the 2 for me.

Warren Veach — Wed, 10/28/2009 - 4:06pm
Tami DuBose — Thu, 10/29/2009 - 2:22pm

Register for the call - Reminder

More than half of us are registerd for the call. Ebony, I'm excited you've joined us. You're welcome to jump in on Monday.

If anyone is connected to Hugo, please, let him know about the call. I think he's new to the community & may not be seeing these posts.

Tami DuBose — Sat, 10/31/2009 - 1:34pm

hello...

I am on the west coast and those times are great... I will pencil it in..

Neil Johnson — Sun, 11/01/2009 - 12:05pm

Unfortunately, that is right

Unfortunately, that is right when my kids come home from school (3 pm EST). I may be able to make the first 10 minutes...but then I am off to pick up my kids. If it goes longer than 30 minutes, I can jump back on when I return.

Dawn Orbeck — Sun, 11/01/2009 - 4:41pm

Getting antsy yet?

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm getting kinda antsy about today's first call. I admit, that outside of my own group, this is the first time I've participated in such a venture and am a little excited about the possibilities.

If I remember right, it's kinda feels like a first date. LOL

Warren Veach — Mon, 11/02/2009 - 7:50am

Calling in is good

If anyone else has to be away from the computer at the webinar time, just call in. You won't miss much. I'm only going to throw up a few visuals bc/s we have the ability.
2p CST - Call begins
Intros of those on the call
Review the suggested format from the Goals section
Set up Partners (we'll go in alphabetic order by first name/split in the middle & pair people up)
Partners will NOT set up their time on this call. They will catch up with each other after call.

Tami DuBose — Mon, 11/02/2009 - 10:20am

Hello Everyone

I joined the group, but could not connect on any webinars because of my schedule. I contacted Tami, and she mentioned that I could possibly hook up with Dean McNamara as my accountability partner.

I am looking foward to getting involved. My productivity doubles and triples when i am accountable!!
Thanks, Tami.
