I hate the word Diet.... I'm on a diet......  This diet really works....

It doesn't!!!

Yes, of course you will lose weight, your on a diet. But what happens when you stop??? You gain all the weight back, and in some cases gain more weight than you started. Why?

1. You go back to eating your previous portions. You can't eat your previous portions, you've lost weight and your body needs less. Your mind thinks you need more, not your body.

2. I got to my goal, so I can eat what I want again. WRONG! You can't go back to donunts, white bread, processed foods! You can reward yourself, once in awhile, but not a daily reward!!!!

3. Yoyo diets are worst for your body than not doing any diets at all. Everytime you go on a diet, your body i.e. cells "remember" and go into starvation mode. They begin to store fat, hence it gets harder and harder to lose weight.

LIFESTYLE

The end result might be slower, but it works!

Baby steps are the best, its what I do and what I recommend.

Here are some tips:

Excerise, start with a walk, I love talking a walk with my better half, we try to talk a walk once a day. It doesn't have to be far, start by walking around the corner. Once this becomes a routine, then go for a longer walk. Don't stop!!!

Food, don't be lazy and eat out everday. You'll save money too! When making food make enough to last a couple of days. I love to do this because I don't have to time to cook everyday, left overs saves me and give me time for other things :)

And sweets, we all love sugar! Get a note book and track what sugar items you ate and at what time for a week. Don't cheat, since you are only cheating yourself! Once the week is done, look over the list and see where you can easily cut back. Track another week and cut back one more thing.

Do you know why you love sugar so much?

Because its programmed into your brain! The difference is that this was designed for when we were still nomades. We needed sugar in our diet, but it was rare to find. Our brain craved it and so when we saw the opportunity for sugar we would grab it. The sad thing is that the food industry has used this programmed need to their advantage and have packed sugar into every food they can. Unfortuntely for most of us, we end up eating way to much sugar.

To everyones better health!
