About sales for beginners
Hello and welcome, Today I'm going to give a quick note on the thought of sales. The internet has paved the ways for easy money, like wise the competition has also increased, so trying to sell something for your first time can be a daunting task, many lose faith within their first week others about a month and the rest, much longer. Gaining the knowledge required takes time, through trial and error you can usually pick up on some of your mistakes and refine them for better results in your marketing efforts. People often sell the "wrong" product when it comes to sales, the problem is people dont want products, they want solutions so when you sell solutions, then you are on a winner. I'll give a small example below;
A person walks into a hardware shop and then walks out with a drill set and drill bit, the question is, did that person want to by a drill? the answer is no. what the person wanted was to get a hole into something, so the solution was to get a drill. So as you can see it is not the means that people are looking for, but a solution to their concerns.
Many sell products, but people dont want the products unless it can solve their issues, so sell the solution and as a result of that solution you require certain means.
One key factor in sales is 20% of sales people are selling 80% of the products, where is the other 80% are struggling and competing for the last 20%,
think about this.......that's because the 20% are selling solutions and the othe 80% are selling products, till next time have a great day, cheers jean.
