Posting Your Social Content For Maximum Exposure & Impact

The hottest current trend in internet marketing right now is social media & networking.  There are dozens of sites where we can ‘hang out’ online with other like minded entrepreneurs to make new friends & valuable contacts & one way of enhancing your online profile to establish yourself as a leader is to produce useful & educational content for others to view or read.

Producing videos & writing content all takes time but then it also takes more time to post it to the different sites on the internet for others to read.  However, over the last few months I have developed a system that  works very well for me in getting good coverage &  it also save me a great deal of time.

By posting I piece of work to 1 site does not mean that you will cause duplication by posting it to other sites.  It is perfectly acceptable to post 1 video not only to Youtube but then also to Metacafe, Viddler, Myspace video, Google video, Yahoo video.  Providing the video content is not promotional then I will also embed it from Youtube to Betternetworker.   Remember that different people will visit different sites, not everyone goes straight to Youtube, in fact the more video sites you can find to upload to the better.  The same principle applies to written content so the same article can be posted to blogs & article submission sites as well as the video description without fear of duplication.

I have found that by uploading my video to the free service tubemogul.com it is automatically posted to approx. 7 video channels which include Youtube & Metacafe.  The post to you tube automatically updates my Youtube page on my website at Brigitte Mehr.com .  So by just 1 initial upload of the video & description it gets distributed another 7 or 8 times. 

The description/article then also gets posted to my blog, Myspace blog, Betternetworker blog &  Ezine articles.com. 

Then my online followers get to know about this via a ping from ping.fm which sends an alert to twitter.com, Facebook &Myspace.

So, 1 article & 1 video get distributed to approx. 9 video channels, 3 blogs, article submission site &  twitter by 3 or 4 uploads.

Using the internet for business & working from home is all about being efficient with time.  People choose to work in home businesses to enhance the quality of their lives & increase the amount of time they have to spend doing the things they really want to do.  By using leverage like this we can harness the immense power of the web leaving us free to be living our lives as we truly want to.
