Posting Your Social Content For Maximum Exposure & Impact

Group: Better Networker Results

Read More: Marketing  |  Social Content

The hottest current trend in internet marketing right now is social media & networking.  There are dozens of sites where we can ‘hang out’ online with other like minded entrepreneurs to make new friends & valuable contacts & one way of enhancing your online profile to establish yourself as a leader is to produce useful & educational content for others to view or read.

Producing videos & writing content all takes time but then it also takes more time to post it to the different sites on the internet for others to read.  However, over the last few months I have developed a system that  works very well for me in getting good coverage &  it also save me a great deal of time.

By posting I piece of work to 1 site does not mean that you will cause duplication by posting it to other sites.  It is perfectly acceptable to post 1 video not only to Youtube but then also to Metacafe, Viddler, Myspace video, Google video, Yahoo video.  Providing the video content is not promotional then I will also embed it from Youtube to Betternetworker.   Remember that different people will visit different sites, not everyone goes straight to Youtube, in fact the more video sites you can find to upload to the better.  The same principle applies to written content so the same article can be posted to blogs & article submission sites as well as the video description without fear of duplication.

I have found that by uploading my video to the free service tubemogul.com it is automatically posted to approx. 7 video channels which include Youtube & Metacafe.  The post to you tube automatically updates my Youtube page on my website at Brigitte Mehr.com .  So by just 1 initial upload of the video & description it gets distributed another 7 or 8 times.

The description/article then also gets posted to my blog, Myspace blog, Betternetworker blog &  Ezine articles.com.

Then my online followers get to know about this via a ping from ping.fm which sends an alert to twitter.com, Facebook &Myspace.

So, 1 article & 1 video get distributed to approx. 9 video channels, 3 blogs, article submission site &  twitter by 3 or 4 uploads.

Using the internet for business & working from home is all about being efficient with time.  People choose to work in home businesses to enhance the quality of their lives & increase the amount of time they have to spend doing the things they really want to do.  By using leverage like this we can harness the immense power of the web leaving us free to be living our lives as we truly want to.

Great Video

Thanks, Brigitte, for the info!  I'm just learning this stuff and it was very helpful to learn that you can cut down on some of the time spent posting.  I really appreciate it!

You can take it one step

You can take it one step further by using Twitter to connect social sites like Ning that are not allowed on Ping.fm or Hello.txt.  Twitter has a widget plugin that can be pasted into blogs and other networks that will expand the automation even further.

Hi Brigitte, you are detail oriented!

Thanks VERY much for teaching us how to upload video materials once and leverage them all over the net.

Today, I enrolled with TubeMogul and began the process of registering with lots of video upload sites. But I'm not sure if I understand you correctly about how your youtube video then gets posted to your blog. I see on your blog you have a special tab for those videos...

I have a wordpress blog: http://enjoyingyourhealth.com. I've checked out YouTube's site and can't find a way to automatically link a newly uploaded video with my blog. Is there a way?

You must manually link the video from YouTube to your blog, just like you do to an Ezine article, right?

Thanks for your helping attitude, friend in Britain. I'm writing from NW Montana, Crystal Lakes - where the most accurate replica of Stonehenge resides! See it here: http://www.stone-henge.net/.

Looking forward to learning MORE from you, Brigitte. I'm also involved in the pharmaceutical field thru my primary company. We market the Pharmanex BioPhotonic Scanner and various supplements. My passion is therapeutic quality essential oils, though.

Hi bridgette wanted to

Hi bridgette wanted to thankyou for the valuable information that you gave to me. I would also like to contribute in my comment about a new online magazine that anyone can Write to your heart's content.
You can write an unlimited number of articles on virtually any topic. And rather than being published on a low-traffic website with limited readership — like your personal blog — your articles become part of a large online magazine with greater exposure to a global audience. I hope this helps, this is a powerful tool. http://www.goblinnetwork.com/members/toolsforyou.html
