Do you refuse to believe in attraction marketing?
Group: Better Networker Newbies GuideI know most of us here believe in attraction marketing. However a lot of newbies get into the business thinking that they do not need to do it. Without attraction marketing, you are dead in the water.

Yeah or Nay!
No, I don't refuse to believe in attraction marketing. It just makes too much sense. BUT I can't see "putting all my eggs in that one basket".
yep yep
this is overlooked simply because we are living during this transition from old school marketing to new school.
The only way any of us can create something worth while is by attraction marketing, those who do not think so are those who refuse change,
nice video :)
Thanks for the comments
Thanks for your thoughts. Yes we are definitely in a transition. There are still so many people refusing to believe this concept, it amazes me.
I think the more that newbies see attraction marketing being used, the more that it will be accepted.

Attraction Marketing will displace much of the "old style" marketing in fairly short order, I think. It is what feels comfortable. It is what makes sense. It is what is psychologically compatible with a wholesome community. I am sorry that my primary business--where I dearly love the products--is still promoting old style marketing, with their proposed contacting your warm market, holding meetings, making a list of postman, garbage man, hairdresser, etc. On this Sunday morning I am enjoying my wholesome community here.
It is true!
Hey Alex,
Good for you for realizing one of the secrets to success, which is the Law of Attraction and massive kudos to you Lottie for joining in the forum and being open to joining the new school of thought with vigor!!!

Yes
Hey Deb,
I am just starting out in network marketing and I know about the law of attraction and that I need an attraction system to be successful.
It's great to have a place where we can all network and help each other. That's what it's about.
Take care.
Sean
Attraction marketing, YES
Thanks everyone for your posts and thanks Alex for the video. As a newbie I'm feeling bombarded and am sorting through the choices. My primary product also recommends the traditional approaches, and includes "doing what feels right" be it blogs or cold calling. Good to have choices and thanks to all for your sharing.

Definately the Way To Go
I beleive attraction marketing is the way to go. The reason most people don't go for it is because it takes time and effort.
It's much easier to buy one time click through traffic and make the one sale. But then you have to start all over again on your next customer...and the next...etc.
If you have a relationship they will buy again. And again. Because they know you, and like you, and trust you. It's less effort and more money in your pocket in the long run. It takes alot of energy to get a new customer, but with the foundation of Attraction Marketing in place you will have a loyal, trusting customer for the duration of your business. Isn't that what 'brick and morter' business' try to accomplish as well? To me it's just common sense.
Thanks for the Video, Alex!

yes yes !
Great stuff here guys :)
I tried the old ways with my old primary, and I never felt good about it, always like I was a pain in the butt, and I even stopped trying because I thought if this is what you have to do, then stick it !
since employing attraction marketing, I am having such a better time, as whenever I want I connect with people, and all I am doing is giving tons of great insight and advice to so many great people, as well as free tools whenever I come across them.
It's so much better than boring the ears off someone, I never have to sell, convince, or explain, I use a system to do that, but when I get sign ups, and I call them, it is more like talking to someone who you already know, because of your interactions online, it's so cool, and the only way to market, in my opinion, it's like talking to friends about business, and you both feel that you will do the best for each other, Nice !
just one more thing, I know there are a lot of people saying you can make x amount in so many months, but this is dependent on your tech skills, and previous experience, so just realise that every day you spend learning, and developing personally, (which also includes failing) is a day well spent, and will reward you ten fold in the future ;)
Keep on doing what you do everyone

Just a thought!
I think attraction marketing is a poor term. When you are talking about attraction marketing you're talkin' about your circle of influence or warm list.
It really doesn't matter how little or how much you know someone else, it's more important to exude a genuiness or warmness that creates a sense of importance. A true feeling of belonging can go a long ways in attracting others, as it is what the inner circle is all about, isn't it? I mean when I meet others I look them in the eye, I listen to them closely and I genuinely am honored to be in their presence.
When people feel you desire to know them they usually desire to know you too. These are people I want to spend time with, building and learning and growing together. Mentoring and duplication are important, but respect and trust are the basis of a good foundation that leds to lifelong friendships.
This past year I have opened a Nutrition Club with my 2 oldest girlfriends. We have known each other for 36 years! I have since meet people I plan to know for the next 36 years! I'll be almost 90, but get the picture?

Attraction marketing has nothing to do with warm market and everything to do with exactly what you speak of.
The only pieces of the puzzle that you're missing are the tools and funnels in place to automate what you already do in person with people (identify a niche by listening and caring about others - then providing a solution) and take your energy online.
I would talk less about the company and more about the lifestyle changes and companionship and benefits in general -- how opening your Nutrition Club has had genuine affects on your life. Maybe you'd like to begin a blog where you can have a journal of "good stuff" that happens and things that you learn about attracting your own leads online.
Over time, people will have such a good feel for who you are and what you have to offer...
And if you use Mike's materials (that's a link to the Build on a Budget page) in your process, you'll make money whether they join you or not - which is the very coolest part of all, eh?
If you want any help putting all the pieces in place for your online Herbalife biz, just give a holler, k?
