About Me

My name is Kia Tanisha Blain. I was born Kia Tanisha Templeman and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I now reside in West Palm Beach, Florida and my resume includes; Entrepreneur, Cosmetologist, Wife and Mother. I have always had what seemed to be a very different view of the world. For many years I thought something was wrong with me for thinking the way I thought. I would describe my way of thinking as "Extreme Optimism," but often times, my always looking at the "Bright Side," would cause people to think I’m cold-hearted or unrealistic. I’ll give you an example. I am married and my husband, Jimmy, and I have five beautiful children. Well, I was a homemaker and my husband worked as a mechanic bringing home the bacon. All was well in "Pleasantville", until one day Jimmy was laid off. His place of employment had to make budget cuts and unfortunately he was one of them. We had no savings, bills backed up and continuing to come and no one we knew, not family, friends nor associates were in the position to help us; they were either in the same boat or doing worse off than we were. But through all the drama I stayed positive. My family would call crying, "Oh my God; what are you going to do now?" They were depressed for me. But when I responded on a positive manner by stating that everything will be fine and I’m not worried so why are you, they would get angry with me because I wasn’t upset. Well through prayer, faith and working on self-improvement, we’ve victoriously come out of that situation.

How did we do it?

 

Well let me start by sharing with you my favorite quote.

My husband and I live by this quote. We don’t dwell on what went wrong in the past. Instead we pick up the pieces worth salvaging and "Keep It Pushing."

 

After careful assessment, we realized that there was a curse that our family had been living with for many generations. Our parents were broke, our grandparents were broke, and their parents were broke. It was a vicious cycle. Insanity. Insanity is when one does the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. Or as Merriam & Webster defines – something utterly foolish or unreasonable. Well let’s take a closer look…our parents worked…our grandparents worked…and their parents worked. All of them had a J.O.B. (Just Over Broke). They made just enough money in one pay to survive until the next pay. And what was their end result? Oh yeah….BROKE. Now here we were doing the same thing. INSANITY.

 

We finally decided that it was time to do something different and there was absolutely no time to waste. Okay, so in the meantime Jimmy did have to get another J.O.B. We still needed to survive but, it was different. With eyes wide open and our mission and goals crystal clear the expedition had begun. ..

 

Before you answer let me just allocate that through experience I have learned that in order to get what others want, you have to do what others won’t do.

So if you guessed that we began our journey, then you’re quite right.

We started with Team TakeOver Marketing Inc. (TTO) Our mission at Team TakeOver is:

To inform, teach and train individuals that aspire to gain mental and financial gain.

Our marketing strategy is to align ourselves with companies that are leaders in their respective industry. By aligning our company with these Fortune 500 leaders, we are able to position ourselves in front of trends before the masses are aware.

TTO is the epitome of how life should be lived. We are always seeking to improve ourselves as individuals, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, husbands, wives …whatever it is that we are and want to become. TTO is a team, which means we focus ..ing others reach their goals; for that in turn will be the way to reach our goals. TTO is a family as well as group of business partners. We uplift each other and the joining of like minds and unique gifts enable TTO to operate and deliver a successful system.

Becoming a member of TTO has changed my life and the life and future of my family. TTO is more than a business. TTO is a mindset.

Now I’m not going to claim fame and fortune just yet (2 more years tops). But I will say that with TTO I have come from $125,000 in debt, all bills past due, hiding the car from the repo man and counting down the days to eviction... to now being a little less than $50,000 in debt, bills paid on time, car note and car insurance paid and soon becoming a homeowner, all in one year. I know these are great accomplishments because I’ve watched the generations before me work harder and longer and still not accomplish this. I know that none of this would have been possible without TTO because the mindset and beliefs had to be instilled in us. The mindset that you don’t have to work harder, instead you must work smarter.

Life presents us with many opportunities. Often times we let opportunities pass us by because we have other circumstances. Such as, "I don't have the the time." or "I can't do that" or my favorite "My plate is full enough, kids, school, sick parents, ..."and the list goes on." What you need to understand is that your best excuse...the excuse that make the most sense to you, will be the one that will keep you from reaching your goals and acheiving your dreams.
