Adam "Smitty" Smith

Hello Everyone!

My name is Adam "Smitty" Smith and I born in Western, Massachusetts. I lost my hearing at age 5 and learned how to sign with sign language and reading lips. It helped me a lot when talking to people and understanding them. I used to have a cochlear Implant and it only got one channel, like one sounds for me to listen. But after the year 2000, the implant has been developed to 28 channels, advanced sounds for me to hear. But it’s really expensive to own that kind this time.

I used to be on SSI and it gave me nothing to do, plus I ended up with small amount of money – paying most of my money to bills, trying to get me some money for gas, food and fun was tough.

I went to Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY- my major is in graphics & website developer and after 2 years, I lost my degree due to my budget problems. I tried to stay in school but don’t want to end up with piles of loans. It ate up some of my life and don’t want to end up owing money for my education and to others. When I can, I wouldn't mind going back to school to finish my degree.

My family runs lobster business, so I went to Milbridge, Maine to work as a lobsterman since I love to be out in the water. When fuel prices went up, I couldn't fill up the boat. The tank has 200 gallons, & it would cost me 800 dollars to fill it up. After a week- I only got 400 lbs, which pays me $1200 a week- minus 800 dollars, means I only made $400. It was tough and I was stressed out.

I am currently working with Danny Bedrosian, who is a keyboarder player for George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, I promote his company “BozFonk Moosick” can be located at www.dannybedrosian.com. A year ago, Danny and I opened this new business called WEFUNK SOUTH, to expand the connections from the world from our P-FUNK family.

I am very well traveled and very motivated to do anything to get any job done.

I grew up with computers, have built computers, advanced software trouble shooter and developing the websites. Now, I am a promoter and networker for BozFonk Moosick and WEFUNKSOUTH and I ended up studying the internet marketing, and how to develop a successful network online.

Now in life, I am very happy with what I am doing right now, helping people to be happy & successful in life. I am becoming happier everyday & when I see my friends succeed & enjoy their life it makes me feels better. I will make it happen.
