A little bit about me

I grew up in a little town in Quebec on a dairy farm and I am the oldest of four. I have two sisters and a brother. Family was very important to me even then, but as I grew up and had a family of my own, this became my most precious thing in life. I found out the hard way how things can change in a blink of an eye. More on that later.

I left Quebec at the age of 12 with my mother, sisters and brother. Life got pretty tough for a while. My mother was a single mom with four kids to take care of. We all grew up pretty fast but I really think it made us all stronger and made us appreciate the little things in life. At the age of 16 another big change. Much to my dismay I had to learn to speak, write and read English. I was so stubborn, I did everything that I could not to learn English that first year. Yikes! Life got real interesting in high school. Thank goodness I came to my senses and quickly started meeting new people and adapting very well to my new life. I finished high school and went to nursing school and got married. And yes I am very glad that I can speak to two languages.

Life went on...

I have spent the last 30 years working within the Healthcare setting in a small town in Southern British Columbia. My husband and I chose this mountain town as a "safe haven" to raise our two sons and daughter and to slip eventually stress free into our "Golden Years".

You may be asking yourself: "Why would someone even begin searching for a new business venture when they already have a secure job of 30 years, a wonderful marriage, a beautiful home with three beautiful children beginning to chase their own dreams"?

One night our lives changed forever...

March 28, 1998 my 18 year old daughter, Michelle, died as a result of injuries sustained in a terrible motor vehicle accident. We learned, as a family, what is truly important in life: Family time, good memories, honesty, integrity, strong principles, and to have the courage to take action despite fear, doubt and worry. This tragedy was a hard lesson to all that knew her. We strived from then on to improve so we could, as a family, put into practice the many valuable lessons we learned when my angel Michelle left us. Live everyday to the fullest and if at the end of the day you can tell yourself ,"I had a great day today. What wonderful memories today is. Life is great". You will never have regrets. And that is what life is all about for me.

Another reality had to be faced. Slipping stress free into my "Golden Years" I realized was only a dream. A few years ago, after 26 years of service my position in Healthcare has been reduced from full-time to permanent part-time. My salary has been "rolled back" to a wage I made many years ago (15% roll back). Once again I was facing fear, stress and anxiety. I then knew that I had to take complete responsibility for myself so that I could have the power to live my dreams.

I have for the past couple of years been studying online marketing and learning from some of the top online marketers. The more I learned the more I realized that I had found my passion. That is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Not working for someone else but working for me, building a strong business... and sharing my knowledge.

I was very busy getting ready to start my business, always thinking I did not know enough yet, had to learn new programs first, had to read some more, had to study, you get the picture ... Instead I needed to start getting busy doing. We are all creating our own realities with every thought, action, and feeling whether we know it or not.

I am now a proud grandma of four. I want to spend all the time that I can with them. I want to watch my sons raise their families. I am all about getting the freedom to do what is most important in life. I want the freedom of travelling the world. I want to continue to surround myself with people of like mind, that are positive and have the visions that I have. I am very blessed with the directions that my life is taking and the people that are involved in my life. What a grand journey that I am on.
