Interests

Interests:
I love to be creative. I love to spend time singing, going to clubs and dancing, listening to music and shopping till I drop. I like to learn about different cultures through music and dance. That's why I have an appreciation for belly dancing and latin styles of dance. I enjoy hanging out with friends, spending time with my nephews and niece and going to the beach.

Activities:
I am building a catalog of songs to sing at gigs and I'm starting to support my husband's guitar duo, its been a great learning experience and I am FINALLY getting up there and doing something I have always wanted to do, so its very exciting (and challenging all at the same time).

Favorite Quotes:
"In each of us are places where we have never gone. Only by pressing the limits do we ever find them." Dr Joyce Brothers "Welcome all experiences. You never know which one is going to turn everything on. Don't put up the walls. The walls that keep out disappointment keeps out happiness". Jim Rohn. "I'm a woman of very few words, but lots of action." Mae West "Live life fully while you're here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You're going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don't try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human." Anthony Robbins "There's no next time. It's now or never." Author Unknown

About Me

My first job was a make up artist, I enjoyed helping brides with their weddings and doing promotional work with different brands. After a quick stint at door knocking, (Traveling around Australia and eating lots of chocolate were the only two things worth remember of that experience!). Then it was time to settle down and get a 'real job'. I started in the finance industry and its been ten years now and I have had lots of different roles, I've worked in a call centre; as a business coach, managerial roles and I'm currently a project manager. It got to the stage where I realised no job was ever secure, I could work 100 hours a week and still be easily replaced and I really am not happy and want more out of life and my career. Unfortunately for me I did nothing about it and continued to go to my job because it was the 'right thing to do'.

I met an amazing musician and we got married in 200and are planning to have kids in 2011. It was at this time when I had to draw the line in the sand, I wasn't happy in my job, with kids planned soon I had to get out of personal debt. If I didn't the debt would be the monkey on my back that inhibits me from spending time with my kids in the future. I didn't want to be a resentful and unhappy person because I wasn't strong enough to do what was right for me.
On my honeymoon, while I was travelling around Europe is when I made the decision. It was time to become the person I always wanted and inspired to be, I want to be a happy, confident and be grateful for what I have, not resentful for the things I 'could' of achieved.
I started my own business called 'Live Beyond Nine to Five' in late January 2010 and I have never looked back. I went sky diving to prove to myself fear was never going to hold me back again.
My goal is to help others achieve real results in their online businesses so they NEVER have to work a nine to five job ever again!! This is a powerful statement for me because I want to challenge all those corporate people that trade time for money to work as hard on themselves as they do for others and see how much their lives change for the better because I believe time with the ones you love is priceless.
