I spend most of my free time with my kids, especially my 7 year old twin boys. I also enjoy watching my oldest son, Hunter, play basketball. He will attending Dallas Baptist University this fall to play basketball. My daughter, Paige, will be a senior this year at Kingwood High School. She is the VP of the FFA club and is currently raising a steer and a goat. She is also a member of the State champion girls Rugby team. She will absolutely "clock" anyone who gets in her way or who she needs to tackle. She's fearless out there and a blast to watch.

About Me
I begin my journey in the Home Business Industry about 2 years ago. After several months of research, plenty of trial and error, I am now experiencing the exciting fruits of my labor. One of my favorite "fruits" are checks in my mailbox or paypal account". I've only skimmed the surface of possibilities, but what I have seen so far has me very excited about the future.
Let me be perfectly honest about my past efforts in MLM and Home Business. It would be easy to say that my past failures were do to the company, the competition, the products, etc, etc, da, da,da.... Here's the truth. This is first time I've treated it like a business and came in with an attititude and determination that I would succeed, no matter how long it takes. Every other time, I never followed through and did the things that I was asked or directed to do, in order to be successful.
Not this time. I'm learning, and putting in time almost everyday, while I also run my Medical supplies company. I love my medical sales career of 24 years, and I have also developed a real passion and fasicination in regards to the leverage of the internet and how it can be used in a home business. So with than in mind, I wanted go out and find people and communities that can take me to a level of success that I had read about so many of the landing pages I have read.
Within a short time, I discovered Mike Dillard, and his Magnetic Sponsoring site. Since then, I have been climbing the hill of knowledge, experience, and school of hard knocks. The courses I've obtained from Mike have provided my backbone for acquiring the skills that allow me to offer value to my downline and other network marketers.
The Financial and Time Freedom that this industry offers to the successful network marketer also comes with a price to pay. It's not a lottery. It takes money and commited, consistent hard work, especially in the beginnig (which, in my case may cover my first couple of years...."the beginning"). However, the payoff is HUGE, as long as I do my part and improve the value I have to offer others, and learn how to produce, just like I have in medical sales.
In my humble opinion, the price to pay in the Home Business industry is no where near what corporate America has asked so many of us, inclduing myself, to pay for years and years, with little chance of ever achieving Financial Independence. Basically, I allowed a few very wealthy people (majority stock holders), to rent nearly all my waking hours at the price they set.
So, I have invested 24 years of my life helping some high level executives and board members who I have never even met, maintain a lifestyle I've always dreamed about. I don't fault them. They got where they are because they did what it takes to get there.
Now I am ready to do the same. Reach my dreams. However, not through making a bunch of other people rent their lives to me. I'm more interested in seeing how many people I can take with me, and get out of their J.O.B.
What attracted most to this industry is the total indepence I have and the fact that my destiny and dreams are completely in my own hands. There's no excuses. If I am willing to put in the work, acquire the skills, stay persistent, and seperate myself from the masses, then success will follow.
Here's the question I see asked all the time on landing pages; "why do so many home businesses fail and so few go on to make $millions?" They all have their answers and most are valid. Here's my cut on why I think failure rules in this industry.
I believe that many fail because they quit too early and/or spend themselves out of business. My #1 key when I started, was no matter what, STAY IN THE GAME. Quitting is not an option. Even if I have spend ever dime I have, I still will stay in the game. If nothing else, persistency, a willingness to copy other successful entreprenuers, and creativity will carry me to the destination of my dreams.
I knew it was going to take time to learn the industry and build my skills. I now understand that this is a journey and not a get rich quick scheme. By staying the course and continuing my professional and personal development, success has to follow. There's just no other outcome possible.
I believe my previous experience as an independent sales rep and business owner have prepared me for this new career. I know its going to take a lot of hard work and that's ok. If obtaining Financial Indepence was easy, everybody would have it.....lol......
Also, I'm acquring the skills most don't take the time to learn and practice. I've spent $1000s on courses and personal development over the past 18 months. I can't think of a better way to spend my money in the developmental stages of my business. Once others see me as a leader, who can help them get what they want, then success is a certainty
I'm looking to partner with other people who are committed to success and are willing to do whatever it takes. You know, the kind of people who take responsibility for their actions and results. I guess that's why it's called "Network Marketing".
The only business I have built from the ground up is my medical device distributorship, Medx Surgical Partners, Inc.. We just celebrated our 5th yea business anniversary and have enjoyed much success.
We have grown from a company of $1.8 million in sales and 2 people, to over $7million in sales, 5 employees and 12 independent sales reps, by the end of 2007. This experience has taught me just how difficult it is to build a traditional service business, and the how the power of staying in the game and growing pays off. A lesson and experience I bring with me.
Personally, I have 4 kids of my own, a step son, step daughter, and step grandson. My wife, DJ, is a nurse, and an awesome partner and friend. Its great to have her support as I branch out. The sacrifices were making now will be our investment in having a future lifestyle we never could have enjoyed with my current business.
With such a large family and all the wants and desires we have, I am committed to be in the top 1% of the Home Business Industry. To get there, I know I have to offer superior value and experience that produces results for my team and customers.
I sincerely believe that the fastest way to reach my vision is to help as many people as I possibly can to reach their vision. That means I have to have the skills that produce results and can share this knowledge in a way that others can learn as well.
So what's my "Why"? Allow me to be a little personal and totally honest. I'm 45 years old. Ever since I started working, I said I wanted to be able to retire financially independent by the time I was 52. Well, that's really only 6 years away.
Here's the personal part. In 1996, my Dad died at 66. He retired a year earlier and was financially set to enjoy a comfortable retirement with my mom. He got cancer and died at the hospital, in my arms, on May 31st, 1996.
After working for 44 years, he never got to enjoy all he had worked for, and my mom has been left to live a life without her husband of 41 years. While she has done outstanding creating a life of her own through her church and the community, I know her dreams were much different than the reality she lives today.
So with this in mind, and not knowing what the future holds, the time is now to make my move. To be able to devote as much time as I want to my kids and experience all the wonderful things that this world has to offer keeps my fire burning hot . Helping others do the same will be my greatest contribution.
I'm looking forward to meeting the members of the Magnetic Sponsoring community. Sharing our experiences and skills will be invaluable to my business and hopefully yours.
I'm a believer in the "Law of Attraction" and "An Abundance Mentality". By sharing our best thoughts, supporting our efforts, and helping each of us climb to the highest level, this will be a great place to meet and grow our success together.
Wishing each of you continued success in all you do.
