Not too long ago, I was in the exact same situation that you're praying to get out of. I started working at 14 years of age, to help my parents of the physical and mental anguish of having a child with cancer. My baby sister whom I love and adore was diagnosed with leukemia in 2004, at the age of five. My parents, struggling to make ends meet to pay for the endless amounts of hospital bills, could barely afford to put food on the table. Even through their pain and mental sorrow, they somehow always kept their stress and anxiety away from us.

From There On

It was from there on, that I vowed to get a job and help my parents out. Day and night I would work constantly, some days I would even miss school. I worked any job I could get. If I wasn't working fast food 5-7 hours a day, I was walking around multiple neighborhoods asking to cut grass, rake leaves, shovel snow, and even clean cars. Every penny I made within those 4 years went directly to my parents. I knew working minimum wage wouldn't help much, but I felt like I was obligated. It was plain cruel. I literally worked from the time the sun came up in the morning, until I laid my head down on that pillow, which at times wouldn't be until 4-5 am. Hell, I would even work on ways to make money at school.

The Dawning Of A New Day

One day, I woke up and realized something. I can't do this the rest of my life. I'm working 65+ hours a week, not including school. I was getting sick and tired of never being able to spend time with my deathly sick baby sister. It was from that point forward, that I would put every last ounce of my energy into finding a way to spend the time that I had left with my sister, WITH MY SISTER! I pledged to never work another dead beat job in my life. I vowed that I would be successful even if I had to die doing it.

I realized how big on computers I was. From the age of 12-14 I did nothing but study the wonderful options that a computer and internet protocol had to offer. I learned scripting languages, programming languages, network analysis, internet protocol, and even servers. Hell, I could do more at the age of 14 than a certified Cisco tech could at the age of 40. I knew every feature that Windows, Mac, and Linux had to offer. I could read a computer like the back of my hand. I always knew that the computer had endless possibilities.

In the mean time, I had been searching the internet for ways to make money. I ran into a company, which offered a product that I had total interest in. With all the work I was doing to help my parents, I was constantly tired. I would drink coffee, energy drinks, even soda, and nothing really helped. All they did was make me crash. This company offered a water, that offered an oxygen increase at the cellular level. I didn't really understand what that meant, until I read the science about it. It said that the active formula that the water is built around was made of all natural ingredients. It also said that increasing your oxygen intake at a cellular level, can provide increased energy, endurance, and stamina. But there was one particular part of the article that really stuck out to me. I stumbled upon the phrase, "SPEED FATIGUE RECOVERY". Instantly, I thought of my little sister.

Right away, I scraped up some money and ordered eight, 24 cases of the water with extreme curiosity. As soon as that UPS guy knocked on the door, I knew exactly who it was. The very first day, I received the product I took a bottle and immediately took a drink. Didn't feel anything, but I figured it would take a little time. The water was completely tasteless. You couldn't taste the formula whatsoever. Going on about 10 minutes, I started to feel more alert and focused. About 15 minutes in, I felt like I was totally full of energy. Mind you, I had worked the day before, and I was extremely tired. I couldn't believe it. It didn't give me the jitters, and I felt totally great.

Now i'm hooked, and i'd drink one or two bottles a day. I also started giving my sister a bottle a day, which she'd drink with no hesitation. After about 2 months of drinking the water, we got a call from the doctor. He'd asked us to come in for her 4 month visit. The last visit, she went in for tests, and they came out horrible, and we were all scared to death, so when this visit came around, we were very nervous. We went in Children's Hospital, and signed in. We were very familiar with this place by now, and we walked directly to the testing center. They took some blood tests, and what seemed like an eternity was only about 30 minutes. When the doctor came back, he had a very astonished look on his face. We were all concerned, and basically strangling the guy to tell us what was going on. The exact words that came out of his mouth was, "Mr. and Mrs. Pena, your daughters leukemia is completely gone". In complete shock, none of us saying a word, the doctor tells us that it's a complete miracle. About 6 months earlier, the doctor had literally told us that she wouldn't make it any longer then a year. My sister had even made her Make-A-Wish Foundation wish, which was to go to Disney Land in California. We just couldn't believe it.

From that point on, the only thing I could think was, "THAT WATER". I knew no one else would believe that a simple bottle of water could cure leukemia, but my gun sites were set on it. I immediately got on the web to find out how I could give back to this company, and they had a Network Marketing opportunity that looked really amazing. I was totally excited to find out that I could make money by spreading such an amazing product. And make money I did. I put Mike Dillards courses to good use, and i've mastered the art of Web 2.0, and I couldn't say I regret one bit of it. I'll never look back. I can now provide for my sister, and well as my parents, and i'm only 18 years old. I find that to be a real accomplishment.
