I've spent my first 30 professional years working as a veterinarian. I've been an employee as well as the owner of two brick and mortar practices.

About 10 years ago, I realized there had to be more to wealth development and began attending seminars on real estate, options trading, marketing and business development.

After my second effort at making a practice actually profitable, I realized that veterinary medicine wasn't going to be my path to wealth and began pursuing network marketing businesses. I've been involved with several companies with ineffective compensation plans and got nowhere; like most network marketers I know.

Three years ago, I was introduced to MarketAmerica and realized it wasn't me that wasn't working, it was the flawed compensation plans that had set me up for failure. After walking away from my veterinary practice, I'm now developing my MarketAmerica business with great success and enjoying every second of it. I'll never go back to a "real" business and am encouraging every self-motivated, frustrated entrepreneur to start down the same path and eliminate their dependence on a job ASAP.
