* Annicat *

I live near Virginia Beach and have been there a couple times a week lately as my oldest son has moved to a block off the beach in the middle of the resort area. 
 

I live in a quiet neighborhood with my 3 dogs and 2 cats.  I have a large yard with a privacy fence around it so my animals are safe from traffic although there is a relatively small amount of traffic in my neighborhood. 
 

My kids are all grown now but when they were small, I lived on the  outskirts of town, in a nice little house that backed up to a farm.  I made some poor decisions back then and, as a result, had to sell my little house and move away for a while when my kids were teenagers.  They are grown now and the oldest has a son in the Air Force, my middle son has a son who is 16, my youngest has a son who will be 4 in February.  We have no girls so I have adopted the granddaughter of a friend and I have her once a month or so.  She is 4 and she has been a part of my life since she was born.  I wouldn't love her more if she were my own.  She is so special! 
 

I work for a constuction company and am trying to build an online business because I have no retirement to speak of and I am getting to retirement age really fast.  I've been married and divorced 5 times.  I don't think I will be doing that again!  I am active in my church and doing the best I can to make up for lost time.  I stay busy and that makes it hard to form close relationships which is probly why I do that because everytime I get close to someone, it seems like they go away in one form or another.
