Hi, my name is Allida Thomas.

My family is my highest priority. They occasionally drive me crazy, but they are also my greatest source of pride, happiness, and joy. The ladies are in the majority in my family. My oldest daughter ( 1 of 2 ) has 4 daughters of her own. I love my little Princesses to death and my husband is putty in their hands. It's amazing to see how the man has mellowed with age. Who would've guessed it was even possible!!

I have come to realize that we are all unique individuals, each with our own set of skills and ability…..   But sadly most of us will go to our graves without ever discovering these hidden talents, the “Giant” within, and the great music that we are capable of  creating.  Most will instead travel down the same path taken by so many others, and at the end of their journey will feel as though they’ve somehow missed out on something in life.     

What does it take to awaken the “The Giant” hidden within?   For a lot of people, it’s an unexpected hardship or some traumatic event.   So when your personal event comes along, do you just give up or do you fight to overcome that obstacle you find blocking your way?  If you choose to fight and not surrender, then the deciding factor will be your response. 

The way in which you respond to adversity is what can make you a winner, stronger, and more resilient; and not be like everybody else.  Challenge forces you to grow; it acts as the fuel for your imagination and creativity.  You find yourself doing things you didn’t know you were  capable of.  Necessity is, after all, the mother of invention.  

Whatever your trigger point is, you just dig down deep inside and do whatever it takes to bring about the change you’re looking for.  Perhaps it is just as simple as  that old saying:  “When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going.”   

Most people complain about their lives, but only a small few will ever take action and try  to do something about it. So for those few: “Stay alert and pay attention, so that when your opportunity comes along you’ll recognize it”.   

Just take a leap of faith.Seize it and run with it for all you’re worth, And remember, PEOPLE can do the most amazing things.
