I'm a 54 year old mother/grandmother and author. I have endured many trials in my life, and decided to write to tell of my story to be a blessing to others that may be walking in my shoes. I also want to touch the hearts of others to help them to avoid getting in the same situation. I lived twenty five years of my life in and out of different relationships of abuse. After all of those years I decided that I wanted a better life for myself. I was tired of the lies, harsh words and heart ache. I knew that it wasn't right for anyone to be treated the way that I was. I stayed in that situation because I thought that no one else would want me. I had lowered my self esteem, lost the sense of self love and it was time to get it back. No one knows how it feels to live in a abusive relationship unless they have walked a mile or two in the shoes of the abused. I took my life and hopes back and wanted to minister to others about my life and that of other women also.
