I had a bit of an epiphany when I was 30, or possibly to be more honest, a pre-midlife midlife crisis. I took a look at where I was and superimposed the possible trajectory of the course that I was on, over where I wanted to be. In truth, the results weren't pleasant

Started reading literature (yes, I'm one of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad people), and began to expand my horizons. At the time I had a failed Pub business so hitting the books (for my own reasons, not for those of mandatory education systems) was really quite a good (and cheap) idea.

Tbh, I'm not going to bullshit you, it was really quite a revelation. I gave up drinking (cos I was getting worse and worse at it) and replaced it with an insatiable appetite for knowledge acquisition.

Through reading and no intoxication you get to a weird space where and your mindset changes somewhat, I started to test myself with things, see how strong I really was. I was a smoker for 16 years and with my new (and weird) wanna be 'in control' of my destiny mindset, I quit smoking with no help, and it really was surprisingly easier than I thought.

Got online and started tinkering with websites 2 years ago (love Wordpress) and have been sharing much of what I learn at http://www.the4thmarketeer.com

Kept seeing Network Marketing from the sidelines (have been following a few NMers for quite a time) and eventually took the proper plunge following systems and employing what I now know with more gusto. Hopped into Numis at first chance when it opened over here (I'm in the UK)

Going forward, I'm excited, insatiable and looking to team up with more like minded people.
