I grew up in Inver Grove Heights Minnesota, instead of going to collage I started working so I could make money instead of spend it.  I think Collage is great for some people but I really think more students should wait until they know what they truely want to do for a living before spending the money.  I am a  believer that most schooling teaches people to go out and blend in with everyone else and not take risks.  That is why if you come to the USA from another country you have a 10X greater chance of becoming a millionaire than if your born in the USA.

That is called Stuck in the Matrix!  Most people will stick with a system that there friends stick with because they are scared what there friends will say if they don't do what is the norm.

I always had a dream of opening my own Restaurant and Bar. In Aug. 2001 that dream became a reality, my wife Shelley and I opened Jersey's Bar and Grill. It was an old rundown building that was not kept up through the years but we saw the vision and potential it had. We still own Jersey's today. As you will see, we are starting to do some live broadcasts from Jerseys.

Through the years as a business owner I found that my try passion was marketing. I didn't realize this until the summer of 2008, I started working with another business and realized how much I really learned through all the years of doing it first hand and of course failing with many marketing strategies. I've learned a lot about traditional advertising and have been studying online marketing for a few years now.

I got involved in Network Marketing in March of 2008, my good friend came and showd me World Ventures.  I was sold because I love to travel, did not work the business for 1 month because I was busy making sure it was a solid business.  Then we started to build and we built FAST!  I was the #8 Rookie of the year with the company and my friend Brian Morgan who signed me up was the #1 Rookie in the company.  We thought we were pretty hot Sh@!,  Never done this before and Cranking.  All the sudden I decided to study the company and learn everything I could, what I learned was we had a better deal than I thought and I changed the way I marketed.  Bad Idea!  We were still holdig meetings, or team was bringing people but there was a big problem.  I was not growing like I was int he past?  WTF!!!  Talk about going from a HIGH to a LOW.

I could not believe it, we would get done with the meeting and I would start to talk to prospects about signing up.  They would ask me queations about the company and I would explain every little detail.  They would ask me about the comp plan and I would tell them everything they would ever need to now.  I would litterally talk with them for as long as it took and then they all said the same thing.

Here is what I learned, they were really saying.

I DON"T WANT TO LEARN ALL THAT INFORMATION THAT YOU JUST TOLD ME!

So, after a year of building FAST, and 6 months of building slow, I decided to figure out waht I was doing wrong.  I looked back at the time I was building fast to the time I was building slow.  What was different?  When I built fast I didn't explain anything, I just went out and shared the plan, told a couple of stories, got people enrolled and made $$$!

Bottom Line!  I brought it back to the basics, I started to show the plan, ask the basic questions, answered their question with a story and we were on our way again.  Now we are Rockin again.

I love this industry and wish everyone the best.  Plug in to basic network marketing skills!  They work!
