Bill Packard

I graduated from the first class of Camden-Rockport High School in 1966. Construction and trucking have always been a foundation in my life and have offered me many opportunities. After joining the U.S Navy Seabees as an equipment operator, I traveled to Diego Garcia in the middle of the Indian Ocean where I was part of a group that built the first base there.
After several years of construction and paving work after the Navy, I was fortunate to be hired by MBNA, a credit card company with a presence here in Maine. After starting in the fleet division and being promoted several times, I successfully posted for a postion managing adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities. Those 5 years were probably the most satisfying of my whole professional career. After being offered a buyout, I started my own specialty site work business solving problems for homeowners and business without disturbing large areas of their property. Last winter my wife Kathy and I attended the Millionaire Mind Intensive and Guerilla Business School with T. Harve Ecker and we decided to try to work smarter, not harder. We want to develop an income that is not dependant on our being "at work" all the time. We have two wonderful children, Tera and her husband Mark and daughter Beth and Jesse who is an officer in the Navy.
