BOB Hager’s BASIC BIOGRAPHY:
(This is for those of you that want some idea of whom you're dealing with-probably a lot more than you wanted to know.)
BORN: yes.
WHEN: March 12, 1936.
WHERE: Boston, MA.
SCHOOLING:
K-6th at Payson Park Elementary plus six months of 7th at local Jr. High, in Belmont, Massachusetts.
8th & 9th American Dependents Jr. High, Stuttgart, Germany. I was an Army brat.
10th-12th at Heidelberg American Dependents High School.
Graduated HHS class of 53 in the castle overlooking the city of Heidelberg, Germany.
There were not enough Americans in Stuttgart so we took a train to Heidelberg every Sunday night and came back every Friday. We lived in a dormitory and Patrick Henry Village.
Special Note: I found many of my friends and classmates on the Heidelberg web site in 2000. We had a five-day all years school reunion in Heidelberg in 2002 and a three day early years (old folks) reunion in Houston, Texas in 2002.
SCHOOLING CONTINUED: United States Army Electronics Nike One Ajax Anti-Aircraft Artillery Guided Missile School Fort Bliss, Texas (the most inappropriately named military base in the world).
United States Army Counter Intelligence Course for special agents in Fort Holabird, Maryland.

A different school with national in the name for I forget what.
International Correspondents schools. I forget which two courses.
A couple of other correspondence courses. I forget them too.
Sales: Dale Carnegie, of course. Lee DeBoise and anyone else I could find.
WORK: yes, but only for nine days. Everything else was fun. Three days picking fruit, three days as a Gandy dancer on a railroad and three days as a technician for Pacific Mercury making TVs on an assembly line for Sears. Got promoted seven times in three days to a chief technician. My only tools were a rubber mallet and a screwdriver. These fixed 95% of the problems.

(NOTE: this is NOT specifically the gathering of intelligence. It is going after and countering the bad guys usually on their own turf. I ran 133 short term missions and Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, and two into Russia. I was always mission commander which was not too difficult as I usually was the only one on the mission. I jumped in 35 times. To be absolutely accurate I actually jumped 1 time and was pushed 34 times.)
Manager and District Manager for RadioShack, Tandy Corp.. I started with 12 stores making almost no profit and in two years had 30 stores ranging from Panorama City in North Los Angeles through five counties up to Madera. We were making a substantial profit at 14.98% bottom line of gross with five times the income of the original stores.
FIRED: I was fired because I had more women running my stores than the other 221 district managers with their 8000 stores all put together. Not difficult as they did not have any. I had seven. Charles Tandy wanted women in the stores but he died and the rest of top management did not.
HEALTH: I am in perfect shape for the shape I’m in.
I became a type one (juvenile) diabetic in 1962. About 15 or 20 others from the 6th Army, seven Western states, were told by "experts" from Letterman Army General Hospital at the Presidio and their consultants from the University of San Francisco medical Center that we would all be dead in 10 years. I was the only one that did not comply with the rules.
Lost a left foot in 1982. Actually it is not lost. I know right where it is. It's in a pickle jar at the Fresno Veterans Administration Hospital in the basement.
Went legally blind (I would not do it illegally) in 1984.
I am now totally blind and have been so for around 10 years.
Lost the right big toe sometime in the 90’s and the next toe a couple of years later.
Had a TIA in 2001. That's a transit something or other. I've never figured out what a mini stroke has to do with a bus.
MARRIED: Yes. First in 1960. First wife died after a separation. Currently married to Meryle.
KIDS: not anymore. They are adults now and have been for quite awhile.
GRAND KIDS: two. A girl 13 and a boy 17. In everyone's opinions, especially their's, they are Meryle's grandkids also. They are the brightest, best looking, most intelligent, most accomplished with more personality than any other kid. I really do not understand why the rest of you grandparents cannot be as completely objective As I am.
MERYLE: we have been together for 31 years and, except sometimes, it seems like only one. Meryle was 22 years younger when we married. She still is. 80% of spouses leave when the other spouse goes blind or ends up in a wheelchair. Meryle is one of the few that stayed. Not because she had to, nor because of a sense of duty but because she wanted to. She is first-class and has put up with a difficult situation very well.
SALES TRAINING EXPERIENCE: I wrote, sold and gave a 20 hour seminar on sales. Unlike most seminars it had very little puffery in it. What my course taught can be immediately used in a sales situation. The essence of the program came from Willie Gale, was enhanced by Lee Dubois and further enhance by me, my experience and my research.
The course sold for $1,000.00 per ticket. I also did it free for friends that were going into business. They considered it worth what they paid for it. The ones that paid for the course with hard earned dollars used every bit of it they could remember.
Many important parts of the course are or will be available to you on my blog. I cannot figure out how to put some of the other parts on the blog as there is so much that leads up to them. I am working on that problem.
Results are best in front of a live audience with audience participation. I may work on that to.
WHAT I DO: I've read over 4700 talking books on tape since 1985. I dine out with Meryle or other friends often. We travel quite a bit. At least I think we do. In 2001 we spent eight weeks in Europe or at least that is what Meryle told me. Friends Told me she took me to Dinuba. I admit I was suspicious when she had me feel what she told me was the Eiffel Tower. It felt like a telephone pole to me. She is great at taking me to places and describing what is there.
CURRENTLY: I am involved in two projects. 1. I have made in intensive detailed study of network marketing and now I teach people, at no charge, how to be successful regardless of which company they are with or which company they are planning on joining. 2. I have also decided to put my teachings into practice once again by joining Xtreme International's gotX. With their innovative "powerline", percentage of gross sales pay plan, company supported conference calls, and a "healthy energy drink" product that promotes energy and health with all those super fruits and natural ingredients, I know this is a company that not only fits all of my criteria but is a company and product I can totally support. Doesn't hurt that the company doesn't hit Pre-Launch until the later middle of September either. Talk about perfect timing!
Now if that isn't more than you want to know I don't know what could be.
