It was indeed a good day for the world when Baby Bobby was born in that little white house in Council Bluffs, Iowa. For indeed, hasn't the world been made better by the humor and efforts to "do the right thing" in life, being a good friend to many, devoted to the winds of freedom that engulfed the USA at the beginning, and gave us what had never existed before?

A farm ranch kid who grew up in tough times, off to "save my Mom from the Commie Hordes" at age 17...(what a LIE that was) and on to a lifetime in sales and in the pursuit of truth in an effort to "save" my country from what, sadly, has happened to it anyway.

Sales and Marketing? Been there, done that.

Sold Retail
Sold high quality furniture "on the road" from Los Angeles to San Diego, to Yuma, back to Palm Springs, and this before all of the freeways were completed.

Escaped two evils...one being the dirty air and stress of Los Angeles (not to mention the ongoing war with subversives that no one else knew about...or cared) to move to Northern California... a paradise before the Subversives gained near total control of a once magnificent state.

More sales, also a construction division doing a dangerous and dusty work with my all black crew.

All over Northern California for five years, until my wife-to-be watched Billy and I "strip out" a job with our crane, ladders up 25 feet, lifting heavy steel forms and loading on trucks, etc.

"I've been scared all day watching this. Do you think you could give this up when (notice the when, not if) we get married?"

It took all of a month to "give that up".

Escaping cold turkey, no jobs, to the mountains of California, and after trying to deal with non professional folks in Real Estate, I decided to become the best Real Estate Broker in the County in five years. Mind you, I didn't even have a license as yet, but began the forty mile drive to Sacramento the next day.

Our goal: To have people like us and trust us. We wrote it down (and never looked at it again)"In five years, we will walk down this little Main Street and people will say: "There goes Bob and Diane, you can TRUST them".

And so it was that, within one year I was getting listings from the "old timers", and in year four was voted Realtor of the Year, I was pretty much top land salesman (number of sales, not necessarily the large parcel sales) also during those years, and in year six was voted President of the Real Estate Board.

Thanks to Jimmy Carter and his commie type people, interest rates shot to 22.5% on a home loan, and things got tough in a hurry. By then we had 37 agents and two offices (big mistake: second office)

Trusted two people who cut our throats financially, plus the steady decline of sales, so we shut down our dream business, sold our Cessna (lotsa tears over that), and began Network Marketing when Herbalife was an unknown name. Fast forward less than two years and we are in the top producer's club, and traveled the world with Mark and Larry and the finest humans we could ever have asked to be with. (oops, bad sentence structure... I keep waiting for Mrs Van Sycle's ruler on the knuckles)

Bang! We learned (the first time) the hazards of big success in NUTRITION products, for we were headed for a huge, make that huge, income at the end of '84, when out of the blue came the media "hit", set up by the usual criminals in the Fed System who take pay from taxpayers, but secretly work for Big Pharma, one way or another, and overnight our income dropped and in six months had dropped by over 90%. No typo.

At any rate, we were dumb/loyal... take your pick...and stayed and fought back with OUR money, but once lied about, it takes nearly a decade for a good company to overcome lies and move up again. By then, of course, those loyal to the company were broke.

Never again.

So how about now? I am about to spring into monster sized money again with what the New York Times calls: The most effective means of advertising ever invented" (paraphrased, but close)

Up and rolling and soon to be world wide, with an income potential that is staggering, for virtually any business or organization or club or hospital or ? can benefit greatly by using this system of targeted (and people have voluntarily asked to be on the list) advertising and/or communication that actually reaches the recipient, unlike what email has become.

Aside from the above, a dull life. LOL
