I moved to the US in 1988, from Sweden.

1990 I started my first business, a Cat Sitting Business. I operated this business for 15 years with my husband.

In 1999 I was introduced to my first network marketing company - and a product that changed my health profoundly. I literally had relief from 17 years of chronic pain overnight. However, I was very prejudiced against network marketing companies, and the first thing I said to my friend, who introduced me to the product was "This is amazing, it is a miracle! It's too bad it is network marketing, because I don't feel I can tell anyone about it..."

Well, this product and company was responsible for changing my view of network marketing permanently. For one thing, when you have such an amazing experience, you can't NOT tell people about it. Secondly, I came to realize that the network marketing business is something that really benefits peoples financial lives in a real and positive way, and allows a person to get into business without having to make major investments.

I never did get anywhere with this first company as a business however, because I had no clue how to go about building a network marketing business, although I still use their products, and order every month.

Between then and now I have worked a few different companies. I learned along the way. I thing I  learned was that picking a company that has both a product I have a passion for, and a compensation plan that allows the average networker to make a meaningful income, is important. I did very well with one company in particular, but they went out of business due to owner mismanagement. A good lesson in why the teachings of Magnetic Sponsoring are so important!

I am very happy with the company I currently work with - a perfect marriage of a fantastic product and absolutely the best compensation plans I have ever worked with or seen. Finding Magnetic Sponsoring has added a new dimension to my business.

I was able to quit the cat sitting business in 2005, as our online business was generating enough income to support us. As much as I enjoyed some aspects of cat sitting (like the cats!) the lack of days off, working literally 7 days a week and driving a whole lot, were downsides that eventually led to burnout.

In 2005 we also bought a house, which has enabled me to get back to my passion: gardening - being self employed allows me the time to tend my garden!

I am so happy to finally not only be self employed, but to really be working from home, and able to set my own hours, and one of the greatest pleasures is to be able to help others do the same!
