Grandmother at Age 30!

Okay, so yes, I cheated a little :)  I married this wonderful man who made me stepmother of 4 and grandmother of 1 when I was 30. So you can't help who you fall in love with, but I chose a man with a pre-made family and it has been a GREAT life.

I met my husband when I moved back to Iowa to start graduate school. My life had been about experiencing the world up to that point. Living in Minnesota, Arizona, Colorado and backpacking Europe for one summer. My twenties was a delight and I loved my explorations, however I realized it was time to GET SERIOUS about life. So grad school seemed to be the right option.

Getting a REAL job

So you can probably guess I landed my first "real" job after graduate school. It was a perfect job, but the stress of driving, traveling for work, and managing a new family all at the same time became overwhelming. I knew there was a better way, but I didn't know exactly what it was. I started exploring affiliate marketing and network marketing in 2001. Unfortunately I didn't get linked up with very good programs, the right leaders or the understand enough of the opportunties to proceed. I also battled cancer for the first time that year. I slowed back down and stayed with my JOB.

What Changed?

The kids grew up and moved out, a transition in my JOB, improved health, and better tools with avenues on how to proceed. Thank goodness for attraction marketing and the growth Mike Dillard has brought to us through Magnetic Sponsoring and BetterNetworker.com. We are so blessed in this time to have the connections and opportunties these leaders are presenting. It doesn't have to be a secret or a mystery any longer. I am in and I am in it to win it!

My journey has only begun. I am about one year into my business as of June 2009 and I know this is my year to flourish. I am ready to take off and I am anxious to become that entreprenuer that has always been inside of me.
