Just a good ole' farm boy from Kansas here!  I wouldn't change a thing about how I was raised; I learned the values of a good work ethic, honesty, integrity, and so much more that I wouldn't have received from any other background.  However, I was always taught to go work hard to make a living.  I never was surrounded by people with the philosophy of working smart, not working hard.

So I went to college, Kansas State University, and got a dual bachelor's degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design, went off to the big city and got a job as a landscape designer.  Now the pay was decent, but I had to work crazy hours just to keep all the wheels turning.  I could definitely see myself slowly slipping into this dreaded rat race everybody speaks of. 

Thankfully, God didn't allow me just to settle into that and I like to go against the grain a little, it never was my thing to have a boss to answer to!  So I started a home-based business, built it part-time for about two years, and then walked away from that job to work from home.  Through the hills and valleys of a business it's all worth it to keep going, as I've now been able to work from home for the last two years, travel whenever I want, and take time off without asking someone. 

I love nothing more than helping other people do the same thing, helping them create time and financial freedom in their lives.  True success, I believe, isn't in how well you do, but how well others do because of you.
