My upline has a mantra of sorts, which I like alot:  "I will not become discouraged or disappointed because of what someone else does, says or thinks.  I will repeat this as often as needed throughout the day, and recognize that with God's help, it can be done."

It has been exactly two years ago that an acquaintance said to me, "I want to be part of your team, but I want to know how you will lead me."  At that point I certainly did not have any followers so I had no clue on how to lead!  Thus began my search and research on a new way to market my home-based business.  But first a little history:

Twenty-five years ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, but six weeks later I had to return to my job in the corporate world.  It broke my heart to leave her behind with a babysitter.  I was determined to find a way to stay home.  Two years later, I just "bit the bullet" and started my first home business, a typing service.  Since then I have participated in approximately 15 different MLMs, direct sales, etc. businesses.  Five years ago I found the right business for me and have stayed with it ever since because of its exceptional products at reasonable prices, a business track record to be envied by anyone, and a true business opportunity with unlimited potential.

However, it still uses old school methods for marketing and my warm market has evaporated.  Old school methods don't work, so my search began which lead me to magnetic sponsoring (Mike Dillard), the renegade system (Ann Sieg), and Renegade University (Mike Klingler).  (I tried a few other systems here and there as well, but they were not quite right.)

So back to my friend, yes, I guess I can lead you and others now.  Our company rewards us for helping others, and helping others in LIFE is what it is all about, isn't it? 

Attitude and enthusiasm will take us far in life--gratitude will help us stay the course.
