Short Bio Chad Glass:
Chad Glass' earliest artistic influence came from his father, Chris Glass, an art director, who drew storyboards, created scenic designs and produced logos for local television stations. Equally influential throughout his formative years were movies, which forged his fascination for visual storytelling.
Because art schools were so expensive and he lacked a formal "portfolio" with which to apply, Chad chose a different path. "I went to a state college to explore my creativity from many angles including theatre, video, music, performance art... drawing was not my focus because I could already do that."
Most of what he knows has been self-taught.
By age 29, after becoming established in the Atlanta advertising scene by drawing storyboards, Chad was ready to venture into much deeper water, in a more competitive and larger market, and moved to Los Angeles.
Chad is currently living and working in North Hollywood, CA as a storyboard artist and production illustrator for television and movies. He holds a bachelor's degree in commercial art from Kennesaw State University and has storyboarded movies such as The Last Ride, Disturbia, Stealth, State of Play, Edge of Darkness and hundreds of television commercials.
