About Me

Friends and Future Friends--Greetings!!!

I'm a seeker of worthwhile knowledge--my passion in life is having the freedom (time freedom and money freedom) to do what I wish to, when I wish to, with whom I wish to. Since reaching the half-century mark, I've discovered a passion to realize my full potential both as a person and in financial success. Helping others, especially new entrepreneurs of my generation who are starting late, do the same is my full-time occupation and mission.

I’m married, with four grown children, nine grandchildren including steps and honorary (half-sibs of my natural grandchildren). My dream includes creating the seeds of a family legacy of prosperity and philanthropy, and I’ll have more to say about that in articles and forum posts in the future.

I grew up in Texas and Moab,UT; graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, and returned to Utah to marry and raise my family. We had a 6-year detour to the East Coast when the kids were young, but returned to Utah in 1990.

After eight years in corporate positions following our return, I was getting nowhere and my husband was actually losing ground, financially speaking. Anyone ever received a promotion and raise that actually lowered their income by 15%? That’s what happened!

As the years went by, it dawned on us that ‘secure job’ was an oxymoron. After all, two companies my husband had worked for folded out from under him…the second one owing him about $3000 in unreimbursed travel expenses. We realized that something had to change.

About three years ago, I was able to realize my long-time dream of bringing my wonderful husband home from his full time job to work with me on our shared wealth-building passion--real estate investing. That dream had driven my career change from corporate America to becoming a real estate agent.

We stepped out of our comfort zone after reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and "Cash Flow Quadrant" by Robert Kiyosaki. Using my knowledge of the market in our hometown, we bought, updated and sold our first 'flip'.

Even though I was by that time a broker and had read real estate investment books, taken guru courses, and mentored briefly with an established investor, we did everything wrong!

In fact, I like to say that transaction was a ‘rollover’—it happened way too slowly to call it a flip! Well, it could have been worse, we could have lost money as so many others have. In fact, we made a few bucks (and I do mean a few!) And we were hooked!

It wasn't until I revisited Nouveau Riche that things really began to work for us. If you have a similar dream, we'd like to share this awesome experience with you. NR provides the best real estate investment education I've ever seen (including my ten-year real estate career as a licensed professional).

If you have ever wanted to invest in real estate, especially if you have attended "guru" workshops or boot camps without being able to move forward afterward, if you want to be sure that the strategies and tactics you will be using are legal, ethical and profitable, contact me. I'll be glad to tell you what NR has done for us.

In the meanwhile, if there is anything I can do to assist you in making your own chosen enterprise succeed, I’d love to! Thanks for visiting, and please, invite me to be your friend.
