I have been involved in 3 different network marketing companies over the years.  The first one I spent a lot of money and never made any back BUT I did learn a lot of personal developement and about how to choose a company.  The second one was short lived and I never put effort into it but it led me to the company I am now working with and for the first time - I have made much more than I've invested and continue to do so.  Again, I find myself needing more and more personal developement in order to lead others and to encourage them to do the same. 

I'm hoping to gain knowledge and support on betternetworker that can assist me in continuing to grow my business and also to share what I've learned through much trial and error.  When I first started in this business model, I had NO idea how any of it worked and mostly how the pay worked with different companies.  I was a Registered Respiratory Therapist and therefore, I worked a certain number of hours and got paid a certain amount.  Very easy BUT of course as a therapist there is only so high you can go in salary and the biggest reason I looked for something different is the hours of work were not flexible and as I got older, the wear and tear on my body and mind became too high a price. 

It's my goal that I'll be able to help someone coming from a similar background avoid some pitfalls that I got stuck in.  The loss of money is only one downside when you don't know what you're doing.  You also can lose your hope and give up - which in my opinion - if you're with the right company,and have the right product, pay compensation, and mentoring - quiting is the only way to lose.  I want to share with others not to quit!!  You may need to step back a bit and re-access what you're doing, but never, never, never quit.  I'm proof YOU can do this!

Hopefully that explains how I got here and what I'm trying to accomplish.  My personal reasons for wanting success in network marketing is to truly help others get what they want.  I have everything I need and can do without any more but I will not have the personal satisfaction until my former co-workers and friends get their freedom.  I want money to not be a thought in people's minds.  I want them to be free to slow down and find their true purpose in life.  Unfortunately, most people will not ever discover their potential as long as they're surrounded by limited thinking; mostly in their places of work.
