Interests:
I have many interests. Helping others is at the top of my list. I truly enjoy being available to others. I am very involved in helping individuals become productive members of society after coming from and out of a less than healthy environment. One of my great desires is to travel more...see the world...particularly the South Pacific. I'm an above average cook and enjoy feeding a crowd whether it's backyard BBQ or Thanksgiving dinner. Love having large get togethers. Recently (past 2-3 years) I've become interested in the finer points of Texas Holdem Poker. Even more recently Omaha. Love to watch movies on the big silver screen. Most types of genres. Not too big on slasher movies or the more juvenile humor ones. Have been an avid camper all my life. Did a great deal of hiking and backpacking in my younger years. My music interests are very diverse. I can enjoy anything that is talented and doesn't promote drugs, death, or detruction.

Activities:
Currently and since November of '09 I've enjoyed the priviledge of being the caregiver for my 89 year old mother. What a blessing it is to be able to give back some. As I mentioed in my interests, I do enjoy putting on a "feed" now and again. Usually quite informal. I do still enjoy camping and hope to do more of it soon. Perhaps now there will be an RV in the mix.
