About Me
I've been a network marketer for 7 years or more but I began learning online marketing and social networking a couple of years ago. I have just very recently quit studying the online and social networking as I have had something new and exciting stop me in my tracks.
The main thing I have learned is that the reason most network marketers don't make it and have to buy all this online marketing stuff is that most network marketing companies have no idea how to market. Their websites are so bad that we, who know little more than they do about marketing go trying to build our own websites and spend a fortune learning how to get them to come up on search engines or try to promote them ourselves in the hopes someone will follow us via social networking. Their leaflets and DVD's they give or sell us to give our prospects are sometimes useless junk that wouldn't convice a flea to buy anything.
Another reason so many struggle is that their product is either too "me too" and not unique or, as was the case with the last company I was with, it is absolutely top quality and totally unique but most people didn't "feel" it doing anything for them and it was very expensive. And because 90% of the population hasn't got enough nouse to see that it could actually be doing something even though they can't feel it, you don't get customers or if you do they don't stay. You have to have something that over 50% of the population actually feel such a difference that they come asking for more when the sample you give them runs out.
And thirdly, I had heard people say this before but didn't realize how true it is, you have to have upline with experience, a simple system that works and who are willing to help you every step of the way.
To succeed in network marketing you have to get momentum going and as I heard someone say recently - Momentum = Hot Product + Hot Tool + Simple System.
So I would say, if you're putting in the time and effort but not making it in network marketing you either have a bad product, a bad company or bad upline.
Thanks for stopping by.
