Corey Ellis

As for me I was an only child born and raised in Hampton, VA. After High School I took off to Elizabeth City, NC for college — Go ECSU Vikings!!! Anyhow that is where I met my wonderful wife, Fredrika Simons Ellis. I am the proud Father of 3 children, McCarron, Gavin and Chase. Now you may ask how I got into Internet Marketing. Well the details of my journey start like this.

Ah the vicious Rat Race!! Like everyone I too have been trained to work for money, which has up till now taken all my energy and focus. The Rat Race has been burned into our DNA — Get an Education, Get a Job, Stay on the Job, Work Work Work, Retire, and hope that you have enough money till you die!!! What a wonderful life we have been trained to pursue. Well enough is enough and on September 13, 2009 a “light bulb went off!!”

September 13, 2009 my third child (second son Chase Emmanuel) was born premature at 24 weeks. Till this situation, I had never been in a situation where I couldn’t influence the outcome. Now why do I thank Chase, it is because at that point I realized that career is less important than family. You see I am in the Software Development industry and my hours tend to be anywhere from 50-70 hours per week. I have always been driven to move up the ladder and be a career person. You see I had dabbled in Network Marketing opportunities a few times, but I never had the driving force to make me do anything with network marketing. You see I always had the comfort of a good job. Once my focus was turned to my family, I realized that working from home and building a residual income was important. Chase’s premature birth and ultimately premature death made me realize to cherish the life we are blessed with, to cherish the family we are blessed with, and not to take for granted anything. Internet Marketing allows you a means by which you can spend unlimited time with your family while still having a high quality of life. I realized that if I take those same 50-70 hours and focus on a business that I can build, there was no way that I couldn’t achieve my career goals of being successful as well as spend quality time with my family. So son rest in peace, and your Father thanks you from the bottom of his heart, I will see you soon son.

So as I take this journey to financial freedom, I want to dedicate my journey to my son as well as share what I learn with other like minded individuals. At the end of the day I don’t want to reach the top alone, I want to reach the top with friends and colleagues of whom I have built a lasting relationship with. That is my desire. I know this journey will take committment, courage, motivation and a genuine desire to help others. I am pumped and ready. To the Top!!!
