My strategy in life is simple: I make up for a profound lack of talent by refusing to quit. That's enabled me to accomplish almost every goal I've set for myself!

I grew up in small southern town in Stedman, North Carolina and while I've traveled all around the world I always enjoy coming back home.

I grew up in an entrepreneurial
family.

As a young child I contracted a nerve disease that caused me to lose the hearing in my left ear. Being labeled as slow and dumb I failed the first grade. With the help of my second first grade teacher she found out about my hearing loss and said you are not dumb. You are a special young man. Her name was Miss McRae. Through her confirmation and belief in me I began to realize God had big plans for me.

Upon graduating from High School in the top 38.5%  my father told me to get a job. So with the instruction of my guidance counselor and Mr. Ken from the Air Force Recruiting Office I took the asvab and informed him of my hearing loss. He said what the heck, I will process the paper work and we will see what happens.

After a week long wait he told me to come in and get a physical. Of course the obvious question came up about my hearing a few times. I can remember getting up in the medical exam office and heading out the door. The doctor said where are you going young man. I said home, He said stay right here you are going to be sworn into serve your country in the United States Air Force. I was elated and glad to be able to serve my country and every one in it. 20 years later I retired.

With my parents being business owners since 1967 the entrepreneur spirit was forever tugging at me even through the military.

My first business was in network marketing back in 1982. I did not know anything about personal development or even what network marketing meant. Stayed with it for about 2 years and learned a lot. It was a great learning experience.
Again in 1993 after returning from Desert Storm me and my now beautiful bride where approached again with another look. Again learned more about how it actually works. It’s funny how your priorities change when you have a family.

After retiring in 2001 my wife had the dream of owning a high end gift store with stuff like Vera Bradley, Pandora Jewelry and Personal Monogramming. We scrapped up the money and became very successful until the bottom fell out in 2008. I am not ashamed for trying. My father always told me if you don’t try you will never know. Something within me would not let go of the network marketing model so I began my search and of course did a few things along the way. But the network marketing model always appealed to me it had to be the lifelong relationships you establish along the way. So we began to search after much prayer and deliberation we found the company that would help us realize dreams and aspirations for ourselves as well as others. I heard a quote by Zig Zigglar that went like this. If you help enough people get what they want you will be blessed with what you want out of life. That’s my version :)

I've been happily married to my best friend for 22 years and it seems like yesterday, together we have 2 wonderful children. 2 beautiful grandchildren.

Years ago I realized that my income did not help me achieve the dreams and goals I had for my family. I read in the Bible that we are to provide for our children and children’s children.

So while I was stable with a consistent income the economy was not adding to my income. There was more God had for me to do. I was still breathing. :)

Thirty years ago I discovered the network marketing industry and fell in love with the people.
We are currently working toward the top levels in our company. It is fun and it is work also. Believing in others and sharing the great possibilities within each unique gift from God we are going to change the lives of many moms, dads, single mothers and single fathers and singles as well. It is just as easy to accomplish a small dream as it is to accomplish a big dream so go big…..

I've discovered the secrets to making money using social media and enjoy sharing it with my friends. It's caused me to dream again.
