Finally Revealed: The Real NO BS Secrets Behind Home Business Success and Building Long Term Wealth…

I’m sure you’ve read them… the success stories… the hype filled websites, all promoting how you to can make a mint from home – online, and in your underwear. It’s not my style to give you the same old song and dance… instead, I’m going to tell you something you need to hear… and I’m not going to sugarcoat it – just so I can convince you to take a certain action.

But what really happens in between leaving your name and e-mail address on a fancy website and actually achieving success with your home business… is a story you want to hear. The reason you don’t get the whole story is because most people are afraid you won’t like what you see and will be scared off - before they can try to sell you something.

Hi, my name is Dave Kotecki and as I write this, I am currently in Afghanistan (specific location is classified) and to say my living conditions are not pretty would be an under statement. But it’s my choice that I’m here… if you’re familiar with the “Law of Attraction” you’ll understand that when my goal to make 3 times what I was making with my previous job – that’s exactly what I found… however; it was half way around the world.

Instead of building a business from my home in beautiful Las Vegas, I’m in the middle of the Afghan desert fixing war torn vehicles - sharing a 40ft container with 5 other guys. Everything else is in a tent – the main bathroom is a very unsanitary port-a-john - there is sand in everything… everything! If I’m lucky the temperature drops to about 130 degrees. If we do get a breeze it comes with a sewage smell from the water treatment plant – just a couple hundred yards away. Oh yeah, did I mention the flies?

You might think I’m crazy for starting and running a home business from an Afghan desert… but the reality is, I have found a business that truly can be built from anywhere. (I am the proof)

The Cold Hard Truth About Building a Business…

This may be a first in the home business industry… and it has to be done. The hype and the non-sense plaguing our industry has to end. Regardless of the hype filled websites and the Rah, Rah video’s you see on the internet, the process of becoming a successful entrepreneur is the same as it was 10, 20, 30, even a 100 years ago. You may have a cutting edge marketing system… you may have education from industry leaders or gurus such as Robert Kiyosaki, and Jim Rohn. You may have a motivated mentor to lead and guide you…

But…

Are you crystal clear on what it will take to succeed in your home business? Do you know what skills you will have to develop in order to succeed? Do you know what systems you will have to master in order to create and sustain a successful, long-term home business? When you’re on the phone with a prospect - that actually has the potential to create success and add value to your business… what do you say to them?

How do you convince prospect (A) that joining business (B) will change his or her life? If you don’t know what to say… you will lose them. If you don’t know what words, pictures or videos to use on your website to convince a home business opportunity seeker to give you their name and e-mail address… You will not be building a successful home business. If you don’t know how to write an e-mail that motivates prospects to take action, and builds a relationship with them and can guide them to success… You’ve lost them!

But wait Dave that sounds like selling! That is correct, and that leads us to the first lesson of building a business.

If You Can’t Sell… You’ll Fail!

Like Robert Kiyosaki says: “sales is the #1 business skill you must have in order to succeed”. I’m going to tell you something… you’re only kidding yourself if you think you can go through life and NOT sell something. I know in society there is a negative stigma around sales people… some of the words that may come to your mind when you think about sales people are – pit bull – high pressure – used car salesman – shifty - and so on.

What do you think about when I say names like Zig Ziglar, Earl Nightingale, Donald Trump, or Robert Kiyosaki? These people are successful because they know how to sell. The truth is most successful sales people do NOT fit the stereotype of slicked back hair, plad overcoat, and cheesy grin of a high pressure used car salesmen. You don’t have to fit that mold to be successful in sales - don’t let this negative stigma keep you from success.

Whether you like it or not - you always sell… when you’re with your friends of family… you sell what movie to watch… where you want to eat… where you want to go for a vacation, and the list goes on. If you have a boyfriend, girlfriend, or are married you sold something… yourself and why the other person should want to be with you.

If you’re not willing to learn at least some way of being a better sales person, than you are NOT willing to do what it takes to be successful in ANY business!

No matter what home business you’re in – you will have to sell something. Whether you know it or not the first thing you sell is… yourself. If your prospects don’t join you, it’s because you do not have enough value to offer them. Plus – and this is a big one… people don’t buy if you don’t sell them something. It seems simple – but most people fail because they’re not willing to sell.

If you find a product that sells itself - then you will have found a business that doesn’t need you.

Are You An Overnight Success?

The lure of becoming an overnight success is used as bait in the home business industry. Fast wealth, cars, and vacations bring them in but when reality strikes, new business hopefuls are gone to chase the next shiny new opportunity. Network and internet marketing leaders such as, Mike Dillard or Frank Kern did not become successes over night… and neither will you.

So what does it take to become a leader in any industry, and why do only around 3% actually achieve success?

Industry leaders are where they are because they are willing to do what it takes to become a leader in their industry. Mike Dillard is where he is because he is willing to do “what ever it takes” to learn and create enough value for his industry. He either had enough pain in his life or was able to create enough pain in his life to motivate himself to do what needed to be done in order to be successful. If you don’t know who Mike Dillard is – then do yourself a big favor and check out Magnetic Sponsoring for yourself. It will give you a realistic glimpse into what it takes to be successful in the home business industry.

Sure some people have obtained a glamorous status – but the path to success is anything but glamorous. It requires work, dedication, and drive. It requires that you do the work others are not willing to do, learn the skills others are not willing to learn. These skills include salesmanship, copywriting, communication and marketing skills – to name a few. Success in the home business industry requires a substantial investment in personal development and education. You must be self motivated, self driven, and have a “what ever it takes” attitude to achieve greatness. You have to play by the rules and create value - lead NOT follow. If you are not willing to accept that or do “what ever it takes” then I suggest you find a safe secure Government job to work at for the next 20 to 40 years, because you will NOT make it this business or any business with that attitude… period! You may get lucky here and there – but building long-term wealth does not happen with a couple lucky breaks.

Where Do You Start?

In spite of what I’m saying, you do NOT have to be broke and spend every dollar you have on personal development. It is going to take time, money and effort on your part to see results. With the proper business and marketing system in place, you can make money while you learn and develop your own abilities. With the right education you can learn skills needed to be successful and keep the money you make, and make it grow. With a motivated mentor you will have the support and expertise you need to not only profit from you home business – but take it to the next level. *A mentor is NOT someone who promises to do your work for you… a mentor is someone who can help you – help yourself.

Where Most People Fail…

It can be a bit overwhelming when you first sit in front of your computer and open your brand new business, marketing system, and education. It’s like giving brand new Ferrari keys to a 15 year old. Chances are they will step on the accelerator and crash right into a tree or run it off the road. It’s no different from a home business, when you have a powerful marketing system put in front of you… it is easy to lose thousands of dollars on careless trial and error. The feeling that there is more than you could possible handle, can create “Analysis Paralysis” – this is where you don’t know where to start so you never get started. Taking a small step-by-step approach isn’t attractive, but in the long run will save you money, frustration, and give you a higher chance of success. You pick one skill – master it…then move on to the next. Soon you’ll be teaching others.

Are You Stuck in Your Comfort Zone?

The reality is most people are too comfortable to take action - they’re safe in their job, and trapped in their comfort zone. The only way they will wake up from their sleep is if the pain in their life is stronger than their fear of taking action. If the pain of not taking action is so high, you have no choice but to pick yourself of the couch, floor, or bed and do “what ever it takes” to make it right – in most cases the necessary action is rare. If I don’t take action – I don’t succeed. It is not my plan to live in Afghanistan, away from my friends and family a day longer than I have to. I am not in the conditions ideal for running a successful business, but that doesn’t matter. The only condition I need or anyone for that matter is… the correct successful mindset.

I live with people who make life and death decisions everyday… those decisions are tough… The decision to get up and get behind my computer and do “what ever it takes” each and every day whether I feel like it or not… for me is a no brainer. I will invite you to do “what ever it takes” to light a fire under yourself like never before.

Think about your life now…

If you’re not exactly where you want to be, imagine how you will feel in 5 years if nothing has changed. What if you lose your job? Will you be able to take care of yourself or your family? How would you feel if you found out the last 20 years of your life were spent for nothing? How about living paycheck to paycheck for the next 5 years? What about never sticking your feet in a soft sandy tropical beach because your feet are stuck in a set of work shoes? Look in to the future and imagine telling your kids you can’t spend time with them because you didn’t take action when you had the chance.

Feel it right now!

It sucks… it hurts… its demoralizing… it’s also your choice whether it happens or not!

It wasn’t to long ago I saw an elderly lady greeting people at the door of a major retailer (you know the one) she was leaning against a cart looking completely void of life. It was sad to see someone spend their final years in a minimum wage job, because at some point she did not take the right action to prepare for her retirement. Do you want to be that lady?

These are harsh scenarios… but the reality is the majority of people in society will face these problems. If you can live with disappointment like that… you’re a stronger person than I, but strength alone does not get you what you want in life. Having the courage to stand outside the herd, ignore the bad news, and do what ever it takes to create the life you want… takes more than just strength.

What Takes 20 Years to Build But Only 5 Minutes to Lose?

Warren Buffett says “it takes you 20 years to build your reputation, but it takes only 5 minutes to ruin it”. You may get away with something once or twice… but your reputation will catch up with you and you will be worse off for it. I will do what ever it takes to create my future as long as it’s honest, ethical and moral.

If you want to build long-term wealth you need to start NOW and you need to know where to begin. Living life the hard way… Robert Kiyosaki said “Life is easy when you live it the hard way, but hard when you live it the easy way”. To live one paycheck from being on the streets, to have creditors call you several times a day, to have to say “no” to your kids because you don’t have the money to buy them what they need, is hard. To wonder if you can afford to keep the lights on next month… to wonder if your job will be there a year from now… That to me is living life the hard way. And the hard life is not for me… and if you think its bad now… just wait until it gets worse.

Are You Too Late to Build an Internet Home Business?

The right time to act was probably a few years ago, the internet is saturating with new internet marketers – all with home business dreams in their eyes… Google is making it harder than ever for just anyone to place ads online. E-mail inboxes are filled with SPAM, social networks are loaded with people who don’t have a clue on how to market or sell to people. Internet users are now numb and have built a resistance to hype filled marketing messages.

The good news out of all of this is much like MLM or network marketing, those who try to make it with an internet home business and don’t see results in a few months will do one of two things… They will learn from their mistakes, and start looking for answers and do what ever it takes to create there success. Or… Quit Those who find out it takes more than a few months and a few hours a week to build a true solid home business online won’t give up.

The rules of business success haven’t changed in a hundred years. For those who are looking for a short cut… and there always are, will continue to jump from one thing to the next… in the same fashion that people in MLM companies jump from company to company thinking that the company is the problem. The reality is… it’s NOT the company… it’s NOT the system… IT IS YOU!

The bottom line…

Unless you are willing to do what ever it takes to create success you will not find it. It doesn’t matter whether you start a brick and mortar business, traditional home business, or internet home business. I’m not trying to discourage, or chase you away… I’m attempting to light a fire under you and see if you choose to run and hide or stand up and fight. I take my home business very seriously and I will NOT allow someone to bring it down or to a halt because I’m too afraid to turn someone down. Business is a team sport and the people on your team will determine your success.

Because I know the right people will see this opportunity for what it is and those who don’t see it… or don’t want to do what ever it takes to create their own success will go along their way. And that’s exactly what I want.

I’ve been in the home business industry long enough to know not everyone who has interest in a home business is actually going to follow through and get it done. I’ve dealt with tire kickers, complainers, and wanna-be entrepreneurs enough to know they can bring my business to a halt if I let them in. A successful environment creates success. If you’re not seeing success in your life it’s time to start evaluating the people you associate with. If you want success… start looking for the people who share your drive for success and your “what ever it takes” attitude – instead of a “whenever I feel like it” attitude which will get you nowhere.

An Offer You Can’t Refuse...

If your still reading this then I know you are serious about finding “the one” true business you can call your own, be proud of, and create a better financial future for you and your family. If after everything I said you are feeling more empowered, motivated to do what ever it takes do create your home business success. Then I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you succeed! I offer you the “Next Step” to doing what ever it takes to realize your dreams and full potential… Right here, right now…

Hi Dave. Sorry I can't leave you a review but I think it just because BN has been screwed up for me lately (constantly having to delete cookies to get access). But if I could I'd have nothing but admiration for "darkside" Dave!!!

Hey Dean, They fixed it! Thanks for the great comment.
Hey Dave Thanks for reaching out to me here. I have not connected with lots of people here yet so it's great to connect with you. Hope your weekend went well. Steve
Well, you beat me to the awesome guestbook entry! But, I wanted to say that yours was my favorite of all the replies on my forum thread about recruiting people into your business. Your outlook is precisely how I chose to deal with the guy in question. I did learn a lot from him, mostly about myself, and had a bit of fun with him in the process. Thanks for taking the time to read my post, give such great advice, and thanks a ton for that rockin' compliment. PEACE!
