"I have no doubt whatever that most people live . . . in a very restricted circle of their potential being. They make use of a very small portion of their possible consciousness . . . much like a person who, out of the whole body organism, should get into the habit of using and moving only the little finger. We all have reservoirs of life to draw upon of which we do not dream." -- William James

About Me

I am the author of OutSmart Yourself – 16 Strategies For Becoming Smarter Than You Think You Are and 15 other books and home study courses about maximizing your learning potential. I'm also a small business owner, and a mentor and coach for other entrepreneurs involved a small or home-based business. However, let me give you a bit of information about me first. . .

I grew up on a 60,000 acre cattle ranch 7 miles east of Cheyenne, Wyoming where we raised purebred Hereford cattle. My father was the manager of the ranch. I attended public school in Cheyenne. After graduating from high school I went to Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. I got my masters degree at McCormick Seminary in Chicago.

After college I joined the staff of the Ecumenical Institute/Institute of Cultural Affairs (EI/ICA) and worked there for 20 years. As the director of research and training for the Institute, I had the rare privilege of living and working in 5 different nations of our world doing rural development projects. I also conducted a variety of training programs in some 15 other countries.

In 1992 I went into business for myself providing training workshops for educators and corporations. I loved this work, but I realized early on that there was no residual income here. If I wasn't doing workshops there was no income. That's when I started looking for ways to generate multiple streams of passive residual income where money would be coming in whether or not I was working. Of course this how I got involved in network marketing.

Today I not only have my own home business, but I provide resources (including written materials, audio and video recordings, and formal training) for other small and home business entrepreneurs. If this interests you you can learn more at my website.

I believe that the "entrepreneurial spirit" is asleep in each and every person. My passion and life mission is to help you awaken this spirit in your own life so you can find the pathway to your dreams!
