About Me
Welcome to my profile, and for your interest in getting to know me. I plan to share with you some interesting information about who I am, where I came from and what I’m all about. I think it’s important to know whom you’re dealing with and I want to thank you up front for coming here to take peek. I was once a burned-out Corporate America Director who one day took control of his life and decided to pursue a home-based business. I am now utilizing the power of the internet and Web 2.0. But before I get into all of that, let me first share a little something about myself...
In The Beginning
I grew up in a New York City and currently live in Potomac, MD just outside of Washington, DC. I’m the middle child of 3 children raised by my parents. I love my family so much and they are one of the reasons why I push hard to achieve success everyday. While in high school, I became infatuated with the business world & technology. I always tried to stay on top of the latest and greatest in technology and business. In fact I started my own little DJ business & created my own little program that managed my customers for me. It was a contact manager type software. The program was pretty slick.
I was very excited and proud of this little contact manager, I told everyone about it & wanted to demonstrate it on the spot. I basically used this piece of code to manage my little DJ business for me. As you can see, the entrepreneur side of me was with me from an early age. From that point on, I decided I would pursue business administration and computer science once I got into college. Once in college, I pursued my goal and I completed a Bachelors degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration. I was super excited when I completed my degree because now here was my chance to shine as a computer professional
Life After College
A few years after completing my degree, I pursued several IT related jobs and realized one day this isn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. My days of staring at a computer for 8 hours, or so, a day and hardly interacting with people had simply drained me. I felt like a zombie some days leaving work.
Then to make things worse, almost every job I came across had the same characteristics: No room for advancement, no appreciation for my work, LONGER HOURS FOR SHORTER PAY and annoying bosses and lazy co-workers to deal with daily. Giving all of these poor occupational conditions, I decided to pursue a Project Management career, while staying within the IT field. I was EXTREMELY happy managing the many IT projects that my company had in its pipeline, however, life as a project manager meant plenty of late nights adjusting schedules, calling resources, following up with clients, etc. Although I enjoyed being a Project Manager, and the salary it came with, it did not give me the kind of freedom I needed to have.
Then to top it all off, the straw that broke the camel’s back was when I was not allowed to attend my daughters ballet recital, because of an “emergency” meeting with one of the company’s biggest customers. Even though I had asked for the time off weeks in advance, it was negated when this impromptu meeting arose. At this point, I decided I needed to do something about my situation. That’s when I went on the search for a home-based business I could start immediately.
My Experience as an Entrepreneur
Over the years, I’ve been involved in several mlm or network marketing companies with all the same results….failed miserably. Each promised the same thing…”we can make you wealthy!” They all taught the same marketing techniques which was to make a list of all your friends and family, 3 way calling, host home parties or pass out CDs and DVDsI would tell friends and family about my businesses. I would even bug them to tell their friends and family, too. I would spend all hours of the night finding ways to promote my business. I tried all kinds of methods for advertising…from flyers, newspapers and online classifieds to traffic exchange programs. Some methods were time consuming and others were very expensive.
For a period of time, I was building a downline but eventually my downline started dropping. I wasn't organized and I didn't have a system that could be duplicated by my downline. I started to believe that the whole networking marketing thing just wasn't going to work out for me after all.
A Positive Turning Point…
Although, I had failed miserably time after time with my businesses, I still had a burning desire to succeed in a home-based business. This is when I decided I needed to find the one person or program that could teach me how to be a leader and succeed in any business.
While doing some research online one day, I stumbled upon “Magnetic Sponsoring” by Mike Dillard. It teaches you “attraction marketing” and how you can attract endless leads and traffic to you by applying the principle he teaches in his book.
My life is now starting to alter in so many ways by reading and learning “attraction marketing” in Mike’s book. What is so great about his book and program is that you can pass the information down to the team in your organization. When you can give your team a system that is duplicatable, there’s no stopping the exponential growth of your business.
Since stumbling upon this valuable program, I have more confidence and knowledge than I ever had before! Each day I look forward to seeing my online businesses grow and seeing others that I train grow as well.
I now look forward to waking up in the morning to look at the computer to see if I can help another fellow network marketer out there.
To your Success...
Frank
