Follow Me On
I’m founder and CEO of a small corporation. We’ve been providing residential and training services for people considered developmentally challenged since March, 1983. We’re a small corporation, and as long as I’m CEO, I intend to keep it that way. I value the personal touch we’ve able to consistently offer those who are served by and work for my company.
In addition to my work, I have a passion for network marketing, especially in the area of health and nutrition. I have a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota and work hard to critically assess any nutritional supplement or prescription medication before personally consuming it, making it my business to first learn as much as I can about that supplement or prescription medication. If I believe I don’t need a supplement or prescription medication, then I won’t take it. My main interest in network marketing is in companies which specialize in cutting edge health and nutrition products. Network marketing has helped provide me with enough extra income to make it viable for me to continue to pay 100% of the health insurance premiums for my full time staff.
Keeping a corporation together for over a quarter of a century necessitates a lot of left brain functions. I tend to be a right brainer by heart, and have recently been pursuing more right brain oriented activities. In the fall of 2007, my middle daughter went off to college. She suggested I get a webcam so we could video conference. I did just that, and in addition to video chatting with my daughter, I discovered YouTube. I’ve really been having a good time making movies. If you enjoy piano music, check out my YouTube piano channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/dkastrul
For those of you who are fans of the TV show Lost and have an interest in philosophy, check out the chapter I recently co-wrote for a book called “Lost and Philosophy.” Here’s the URL to a website which posted our chapter: http://www.lost.com/whatwouldyoudo.shtml
