Vicki Doerr

   I grew up on a farm in rural Wyoming.  Our town was nestled between Yellowstone Park and the Big Horn Mountains.  I attended the University of Wyoming for three years and married my college sweetheart.  I worked in Chicago as a secretary to put him through dental school.  We moved back to my hometown and raised three sons who all became physicians.

   We have traveled the world for several years.  We have taken a small river boat down the Amazon River in Peru, we've driven through the Australian Outback, we put 1,200 miles on an open-air jeep on a camera safari in Africa and walked the Machu Picchu trail in the Andes Mountains of South America.  We've been scuba diving in Bonaire, Venezuela, the Cayman Islands, Hawaii and the Great Barrier Reef.  We have explored the Galapagos Islands.  We've taken a river cruise down the Volga River in Russia and the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers in Europe.  Needless to say, we have a wanderlust for seeing the world.

    I am presently working on a patent idea and trying to learn to trade the foreign exchange.  My husband is still working as an oral surgeon three days a week.
