Hi everyone!

I'm glad that you're checking to see what I'm about.

Well, here are the basics. I'm a 47 year old native to eastern Long Island. Now I'm planted in Dutchess County, NY, (about 1 1/2 hours north of NYC), with my second husband of four years, my twelve year old daughter, a cat, dog, and to top it all off, an aquatic turtle.

My life and work experiences have given me lots of wisdom. The biggest wake up call was realizing nobody is going to take care of my future other than me. When traditional retirement is 20 years away, looking to the future creates a bit of apprehension after life's circumstances erased whatever retirement I had.

Even though I'm a CPA, I've been involved with direct sales/network marketing since 1999. I was always a believer in looking for ways to earn money on my terms.

But here was the problem: I was never gung-ho on talking to strangers or using the 3 foot rule. I thought something was wrong with me since I couldn't make myself use those methods. So, I was limited to selling products to friends, family, and coworkers.

But, I always wanted to build a downline and help other people build a business. I just didn't know how to do it in a way that was comfortable for me. It was always nagging at me that there had to be a better way.

In the spring of 2008, I discovered that people were using the internet to get there own leads and to expand their business. Wow, did I think this was the golden ticket! This would be easy as pie.

And wow, was I wrong!

Talk about getting sucked into the vacuum of distractions, spending too much money, and constant learning and not enough doing. Yup, that was me, probably just like you.

In the summer of 2009, I broke free of being pulled all over the place and refocused. I spent time working on mindset which led me to my mentor Diane Hochman.

Now, not only am I building my business in a way I'm comfortable for me, I'm a founding member and leader of the Home and Small Business Network.
