Charles Larkin

I am a 37 year young father of 6. I will be posting pics in the future. I used to be responsible for all those cell phones working. I worked as a wireless technician for 8 long years. Everyone always talked about the 40 hour week but I seldom had that short of a week. I enjoyed the work. I did not enjoy being gone so much or being on call and responding to trouble calls at 3 am on Saturday night/Sunday morning. The company I was with went Union and I went bye bye. I couldn't stand people doing less than me being paid more than me. While I stood no chance of leap frogging over them. I had to go.

Little did I know that I was going to be in a car wreck 4 months later and in a coma for two months. I was fortunate enough to wake out of my coma to the Twin Towers falling. How's that for a first memory after a coma? Many months and much rehab later I think I'm ok but some others say I'll never be the same. Maybe that's a good thing. I don't know that I would have been as determined to succeed prior to the wreck. I probably would have quit a long time ago and just climbed the corporate ladder like so many others do. I don't remember liking the view back them either but I'm sure I disliked it less than I would today. Not only is that view bad, It really stinks. I think God did me a favor. I am discovering new strengths of mine all the time that I didn't know I had. One thing for sure is that a person must be mentally fit to survive. I am surviving. I am still here. I am not leaving. I will SUCCEED!
