He threw the television against the wall while in a fit of rage. We all scattered like rodents, as he began looking for his next victim. His angry eyes hunted the room for someone or something else to take his anger out on. To try to reason with him was like committing suicide. The best thing that you could do when he was upset, Was to stay out of sight. Stay hidden and keep quiet, Even then there were no guarantees.There was no way out. Someone had to be punished and my loving mother, trying to protect us, would try to talk to him, and every time it ended the same, with her becoming his therapeutic punching bag. I always knew the life that I was forced to live, would either make me or break me.

I can honestly say that my past made me a stronger and better person. If I wouldn’t have been forced to live the life that I had, I highly doubt that I would be the type of man that I am today. Some might say that I lived a terrible life, but I know that there are people right now going through a lot worse. I think of life as a gigantic novel, the things that we learn from reading one chapter, may make all the difference in the next. I can’t take back the painful memories of my father’s abuse towards me and my family, but I can learn from it.

There is nothing that a person can’t bounce back from. I now understand why I had to go through that painful chapter in my life. You live and you learn. It’s the harsh lesson in life; everyone has obstacles in there life that they must overcome before becoming successful. Why should Network Marketing be any different?
