My Network
Interests
My interests are in the field of self-empowerment, which includes a wide variety of modalities ranging from natural or alternate healing to growing my own food and many things in between.
Activities:
I love to garden, to hike, to read, and most of all, I love to play Frisbee with my amazing dog Maizi, an Australian cattle dog whose endless eagerness to chase after a Frisbee keeps me active and engaged, too.
Favorite Authors:
I'm a ferocious reader mostly of alternate health and self-improvement books and articles. I'm one of those people who buys books and actually reads them and then keeps most of them for future reference. One of my all time favorite authors is Steve Chandler, author of such books as "Fearless", "100 Ways to motivate yourself","Reinventing Yourself" and many more. Books by Murphy,Gage, Kalench, Kersey, Rubio, Sanders etc. all have encouraged me to become the best I am meant to be.
Favorite Quotes:
It is never too late to become what you might have been. (Georg Eliot) If you do nothing, nothing is going to happen, if you do something, something might happen, The Future is yours, do something about it! (Raymon Grace) We must always change, renew, rejuvenate ourselves; otherwise we harden. (J.W. von Goethe) In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. (George Orwell) Vitality shows in not only the ability to persist but the ability to start over. (Scott Fitzgerald) Joy is not in things; it is in us. (Richard Wagner)

About Me
First off, I like to thank Melodie Kantner, a "guru" level member, for introducing me to Better Networker.
My story:
Although I had no intention to build a mlm business, I did want an essential oil named ABUNDANCE because our almond farm froze out that year and abundance eluded us something fierce. That oil lived up to its name because no sooner did I apply it and walked into a local mall, 4 people stopped me and wanted to know what fragrance I was wearing. All 4 ordered. I was in business and shared with enthusiasm as I learned more and more about the amazing benefits of therapeutic essential oils. That was in 1996.
We sold the farm in 2001 since my husband developed Alzheimers. Being a caregiver to him for the next 5 years slowed my network marketing involvement down, but thanks to the magic of residual income it kept growing even when I did nothing much to promote it. The healing power of essential oils were such a blessing to both my husband and to me. But equally valuable was the financial value that is part of network marketing. Were it not for that, I would probably be in dire financial straits. Instead, I am blessed with the security of a generous monthly check that allows me to support myself and a variety of causes I'm passionate about.
One of my passions is to support caregivers - people like me - who find themselves in similar situations as I did. I recently started www.essential-caregiver.com to offer tips and support to caregivers about a wide variety of things that can help make caregiving easier. Eventually my main focus will be in encouraging caregivers and those who might find themselves soon in such a role, to investigate network marketing because that can be the best thing they'll ever do. It surely was for me.
Better Networker looks perfect in support of what I envision.
