About Me
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)
OK, I admit it... I MUST be insane.
For over 35 years I was in a dozen or so MLM endeavours... and did not make a cent... lost 10s of thousands of dollars I am sure. (I was scared to total up my losses... so I'm just guessing here!)
(It is just recently that I found out these things were NOT my fault.)
But I'm getting ahead of myself...
I kept doing the same thing over and over and over
-harass my family and buddies to buy products and/or become business partners
-go on Autoship and have to find larger and larger closets to hold my "inventory"
-get an occasional pathetic check that did not cover shipping charges
-beat myself up for being unmotivated, or not having goals, or not trying hard enough, or not "working the system"
-becoming a quitter
-trying another "opportunity" and going through the same pathetic cycle
Does this ring a bell for you?
I FINALLY saw the light a few months ago. (I suppose there is a possibility that I am NOT insane, but merely a Slow Learner?) But I’m getting ahead of myself again!…
Let’s skip forward to (almost) the present…
My daughter came to me in May, 2008, to tell me I was going to be a grandpa (first time!). And she did not want to go back to the corporate world and have to depend on day care. She wanted to be home to raise her child.
And she wanted to contribute financially to the family. She wanted a viable MLM home-based business that she and I could build.
I was quite pleased that she wanted me to help her. We formed our company (Worger & Associates), invited my brother to partner with us, and started looking around… found a great MLM “opportunity”… AND…
I started the same silly pattern... and the two of them merrily skipped along with me! With the usual lousy results…
Then the solution kicked me in the butt...
Well not exactly.
I read a free MLM ebook that explained my perpetual failure was NOT MY FAULT. And that book outlined 10 steps to successful MLM home businesses... even for people who just REFUSED to ever bug their friends again!

I was advised to come to BN and seek help. Good move for me... I am so glad I found knowledgeable people, here at BN, who are guiding me!
In another life, I was an Instructional Designer and teacher, so I hope that part of my life will find its way onto this site, and make your life much easier… for instance, the “How to Use BetterNetworker Manual” I created.
Warmest regards,
Garry
