I'm a "Life Enthusiast" and optimist!

I'm married to my FAVORITE person in the world, and we have an amazing 11 year old and a 4 year old Goldendoodle named Kenobi. (Yes, he is the Good Force!) I have 3 incredible, adult step-children, and a wonderful extended family. I am very blessed.

I love my family and friends, learning, writing, life, laughter, research, challenge, music, all things organic, wellness and energy medicine related.  I enjoy hiking, spending time at Sebago Lake, playing w/my dog, eating ice cream on a hot day, "hang" time at the ocean, the internet (I love how accessible everything is!), and connections. Connections with people, connecting people to what they need, solving problems, and sharing.

A good friend dubbed me as "Connections Kate", so stay tuned. I've grabbed the domain name and we'll see where that goes!   =)

In my professional life, I've worked in the corporate world for many years wearing various hats; project manager, writer within government affairs, copywriter for training programs, trainer, marketing director, and corporate real estate sales and leasing. All the while, I read books about pursuing my life's passion, and doing what I loved.

Recently, a signficant event "catapulted" me into taking action. I lost my Dad to cancer.

This journey with my Dad was a huge catalyst in bringing about a massive shift in my life. I'm no longer content with simply reading about doing what I love. Today is all I have, and I'm doing what I love.

I spent several months researching and exploring many of the options available in Internet Marketing.  I've chosen internet marketing because I believe it is a powerful medium through which to realize my dreams while enjoying flexibility and freedom.  Truthfully, my head was spinning from all the information out there.  Everywhere I turned there was a new product launch with the "new best product that would lead me to internet business success". There are many good products out there, yet for every good product there are equal numbers of not-so-good products. How to differentiate them became increasingly difficult. I felt confused and stalled in my new career. Unsure of exactly how to proceed - and how it all fit with the best path for me.

I knew I needed direction from someone with experience and integrity.  I turned to Ron Davies. http://ronalddavies.com  His website and reputation speak for themselves. In one short coversation he pointed me back to myself, and helped me to see that one of the things I loved most, and excel at, is the very vehicle I can use to create success for myself and my family through the internet.  Writing.

I want to make a difference while I'm here.  My site, http://www.SuccessAligned.com is a result of my desire to share what I'm learning, and hopefully help others along the way. I'll provide information on the multiple income approach and systems I use, and I'll occassionally review the programs that have benefited me most. Yet my focus will be something I have always loved. Writing.

It's my hope this website and my journey can make a difference for you.
