About Me
Born in Perth, Western Australia (W.A.), in March, 1947, I passed my first 2 years on the north coast of Tasmania, in the town of BURNIE, where my father had gone after WWII, to work on contract, to a paper manufacturing company. In 1950 we all returned to W.A. and dad took up dairy farming in the south west, near the town of Busselton. There, I played and attended school with my two brothers - Rob (18 months my senior and Chris 4 years younger. We helped with the milking, drove our tractor, rode horses and did what we could to keep out of trouble. In 1958 we moved north to Perth where Dad took up selling Life Insurance and we continued our schooling. I left secondary at the age of 16 to start an apprenticeship as Aircraft Engineer that became my carreer for the next 45 years. I travelled widely, using my qualifications to work in sveral countries - Papua New Guinea, France, Nigeria, Iran, Malaysia, and, finally, The Sultanate of OMAN, where I completed my aviation carreer and moved back to Australia, to take up the exciting carreer of Marketing, which is why I am here now . . .
